Green Arrow... no more?

Oliver Queen has once again given up the Green Arrow mantle and this time, it might be for good... well, actually, probably not, but it does sound like he'll be taking his responsibilities as a father to William a little more seriously for at least a couple episodes.

Next week, Diggle will take over as the Emerald Archer and based on the latest promo, his leadership style may not go over so well with his team. The hour will also see Onyx make her live-action debut as she breaks into Kord Industries and steals something extremely lethal.

Watch the new promo for episode three, titled "Next of Kin," below:

"Next of Kin" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

DC CHARACTER ONYX VISITS STAR CITY - A rogue black ops team led by Onyx (guest star Chastity Dotson) breaks into Kord Industries and steals something lethal. Oliver (Stephen Amell) struggles to connect with William (guest star Jack Moore) so he reaches out to a surprising source for help. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Oscar Balderrama (#603). Original airdate 10/26/2017.

As the Green Arrow, Oliver Queen protects his home, Star City, with the help of former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, his Thea Queen, Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. In Season Six, Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past , including Black Siren, return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family.” With the team left hanging in the balance, the focus shifts to the fates of every member of Team Arrow!

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance/Black Siren
David Ramsey as John Diggle/Spartan
Willa Holland as Thea Queen/Speedy
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific

Arrow has been on point for a while now. I hate to say it but felicity wasn't annoying this episode. Dinah rules as she's hot and has a legit power. I didn't like the Bruce Wayne name drop. If he makes an appearance and is anything lle how they cast Superman it'll be a big yawnnnnnn.

Pretty good episode. Considerably better than the premiere. Anatoly's always great and I really like his relationship with Oliver. The only real downside was the ending where Diggle agrees to become the new Green Arrow. That came out of nowhere and didn't really make sense.

Honestly loved this episode. Came in with low hopes, but the entire episode was phenomenal. Gripping from start to finish, flowed very nicely, and even had a few funny lines in there. Also the William storyline is actually coming together a lot better than I expected.

The new tone right now is a thrilling entertainment ride. It's not hiding behind a mystery that we all are dying to know. It's building true character arcs that you know are going to be taken all over the place this season.

The premiere was extremely underwhelming, but this episode set the course for a fun, thrilling season. We don't need cameo appearances by a villain here to make the show fun. Let it build off this intensity from scene to scene.

Not to mention the fight scenes this week were epic. Oliver lit a henchman on fire mid fight.

I wish it would be brought up again that Green Arrow is a hero that was personally thanked by the president instead of just being a criminal still

I doubt this show will get renewed again, the writing has been sub-par for a while now and they keep going back to the stuff they did already that failed....making Diggle the Green Arrow, Olicity.....the Russian crap.....its gotten very, very stale and I just think they need new writers to save the show because they really are dropping the ball. There is soo, sooo, soo much they could do and instead they just keep re-treading. They had a chance to kill off Felicity, Diggle and the kid and make the show stronger....but nope, they embrace the crappiest parts of the show like its gold. They kill off Black Canary, leave Huntress in jail for 5 seasons, take out the Suicide Squad, totally forgot about Solomon Grundy....and just ignore all the cool heroes they have been promising through either hints (like Metamorpho or Blue Beetle) or quotes from showrunners (like The Question and Zatanna) and instead concentrate on Olicity....yawn, yawn, I'm in a comma.
