CW Releases New Stills For ARROW Season 4, Episode 1; "Green Arrow"

The CW has released over twenty brand new images from the season four premiere of Arrow, and they offer up a new look at both the heroes and villains who will be taking center stage in the series this year. Even Diggle looks pretty cool! Hit the jump to check them out...

After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver’s crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, is anyone really safe?

 
Well, while we don't get to see much of Green Arrow, there's no denying that the rest of the show's heroes look pretty damn good. Speedy looks right as home in Arsenal's old costume, Black Canary is as great as ever, and even Diggle's new duds aren't that bad here (maybe just because it's harder to tell that he's stolen Magneto's helmet). Lol, Diggle's helmet isn't even a helmet, it's a face mask ! You can see his ear popping out in one of the still. So it's not a Magneto helmet ripoff, it's more like one of these half toy masks for kids you can get in a toy store ... If they wanted to go with a face mask, they should have ripped off an Army of Two mask, at least they are badass and bullet proof, instead of half a magneto one ...

That's CLEARLY Oliver Queen and his ragtag group of friends.....SCPD is baaaaaad at their jobs haha. If I was a henchmen I'd squeal.

Henchmen: "I know who you guys are. Come on. I've seen the Queens on tv and billboards....That guy is clearly blac and the only black guy you guys know is your driver....that's the District attorney with black lipstick...how do you balance this with cases? Preparing for a case is an all nighter. Kudos to you."

Plot twist: Darhk isn't the main villain, it will be the Arrow Knight aka Tommy Merlyn. :p

More seriously, I hope to see more vilains from Green Arrow and not Batman, this season and less cw drama.

@teragon @Dandy you're only noticing it now? I noticed it when the trailer first dropped. You could see it there already. It only covers his face. Why is it kiddie all of a sudden? Plus, his costume looks much better in action.

@Dandy I don't get it. Yes, it's not the best but it's not really as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Considering that he is an original character, we can't even compare it to anything.

@Dandy What are you talking about? Laurel's always had training. Not Arrow/League training, but she knew how to handle her self. This was all apparently retconed in season 3 where she wpold get her ass whoop easily every time until she got training from Nyssa in the latter half.
