MATT RYAN REPRISES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CONSTANTINE ON ARROW — When things take a turn for the worse with Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Oliver (Stephen Amell) calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical,  John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan).  John Badham directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Oscar Balderrama.

I watched all the episodes on NBC, and loved it all. Don't like Arrow though, but Matt Ryan may get me to watch

Too good of a show to get canceled, but oh well

Now if this one specific episode brings in the Constantine fans just for this episode of Arrow and the ratings spike up the CW can't say no to having him on more or appearing in other shows (Flash or Legends of Tomorrow).

Or they can pick up the series and cancel that Hellblazer wannabe Supernatural.

I love Matt Ryan. Constatine was a good show that was getting its legs together towards its last episode. Man it had me pump because they was teasing The Spectre.

EL REY NETWORK picked up the rights to Constantine. Wonder what they'll do with it

The quality of acting as well as production in Constantine was a really high calibre level compared to that in Flash and Arrow, not saying Arrow or Flash are bad but compared the show was great quality and Matt Ryan has such a strong presence that I think it pushes the other actors around him to do better, you just don't get that same feeling with Flash and Arrow, DC really needs to realise the good thing they have with Matt Ryan and use him more as Constantine, if anyone in the DC television universe could transgress the small screen to the big it should be him.

I think had Constantine been on Netflix, HBO, or Showtime...it would have been much better. I don't think the show was that great...but none of these shows are really any good when up against real shows like Daredevil, GoT, etc etc

The whole "One shot" announcement is just cover in case the Constantine crossover doesn't go over
well with audiences.

Almost certainly,if it is popular with the fans,the CW will bring Matt Ryan back on Arrow and the Flash
next season as well as work in the Spectre.

Remember,when Barry Allen was brought on Arrow the first time,the plan was to go much slower
leading up to the Flash but Grant Gustin (who was blasted by a loud minority of fans due to his Glee
connections) went over so well he was promoted from what would have been a supporting character
on Arrow to a full blown spinoff series.

I have no doubt that a hit turn by Matt Ryan on Arrow this year will get us a two part crossover on Arrow
and the Flash next fall.
