Major Character Return Set For ARROW; New Details On AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. And THE FLASH

A character that most of us didn't expect to see again will make a surprise return in Arrow's season three premiere, while we also have details for you on another Marvel character coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a possible cameo for an Arrow cast member in The Flash.

TV Guide have the scoop on three of this Fall's big comic book TV shows, and first up is Arrow. Despite the fact that when we last saw Sara Lance/The Canary, she had passed off her leather jacket to her sister Laurel and left Starling City with the League of Assassins, Caity Lotz WILL return for the season three premiere. There's no word on how she will be return, but a flashback seems perhaps the likeliest possibility as of right now.

As for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., here's a description of a Marvel character coming to the upcoming second season: "A ruggedly handsome, physically fit actor to play a character who can escape any situation, is a bit of a wild card and, though he's mostly interested in personal gain, always ends up doing the right thing." Who could it be?!

As for that Arrow/The Flash crossover, expect to see Felicity turn up to visit Barry Allen sooner rather than later. "That's our hope," executive producer Greg Berlanti told the site. "Our hope is to get some crossovers going sooner rather than later with all the shows. We have all sorts of romantic possibilities for both of them on both show. Hopefully the first time Felicity comes to town, we'll deal with all that stuff."

Which of these shows are you most excited about?

@Ezio Oh good call on O'Grady, I was thinking maybe they'd bring in Clay Quartermain, but the personal gain leans more to O'Grady

Taskmaster? The only thing against him is that (regarding the "always ends up doing the right thing") TM would usually favour himself.

I doubt the AoS character is anyone from the comics.

Oliver was sexually inadequate and so Sarah went to Nyssa for affection.

Yah, I'm guessing it's a flashback of Oliver meeting up with Sara in Hong Kong. There is no way they would bring her back in on the show in present day. At least not any time soon.

Hmmm...

I can't wait for the Netflix shows but it's so [frick]ing clear that Arrow is a million times better than Agents of SHIELD. Green Arrow is just far more interesting than Coulson

Arrow a million times better than AoS?! For kids maybe, tried to watch Arrow, it was so Smallville I swear I saw "the blur" a couple of times.

AoS twisted to hard at the end, Arrow would prematurely arrowculate if that happened to his show.

Agents of Shield was...eh, at first. But then, it turned into something else entirely. It became engaging and suspenseful and captured this sense of espionage and smoke and mirrors so well that it got me hooked. And Arrow is good for another reason that is just too elaborate to explain without going on a rant.

I hope whoever this new AoS character is, he's super powered.

Pathogen

who cares. AoS blows. and I'm a marvel fan. Arrow is at least watchable, but pretty boring. And jeez, what is with that corny intro? "i must become...something else" or whatever...save this city, blah blah. dumb dumb dumb.
NovaCorpsFan

@Pathogen
Sounds like you don't want to watch either show.

I'll be honest, when I'm bored and have nothing else to do I'll put up some Arrow on demand. I'd never take the time to make sure to record it, or watch it live.
Disclaimer: I'm 36, so not a kid. Its not meant for me. (AoS...i've no idea WHO its aimed at, its that terrible)
