In the closing moments of the Fall finale of Arrow, Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) was left fighting for her life after being riddled with bullets. Though we didn't get to see her ultimate fate, most fans assumed it wasn't the end for the character and she would pull through. Others speculated that she may return in a wheelchair (or be "Oracled" as it's been referred to) and it appears that's exactly what's happened. Here are the latest photos from the Vancouver set courtesy of Canadagraphs.


 

 
In the comics, Oracle was the name taken by Barbara Gordon after being confined to a wheelchair by the Joker. It's long been assumed that Felicity would eventually take the Oracle mantle on Arrow and perhaps eventually team up with some other female characters (Black Canary and Huntress for example) to form the Birds Of Prey. That remains to be seen, but from the looks of things they're definitely taking her down the Oracle path anyway. Thoughts?

Arrow lore is great yet DC won't embrace it and build it up more. I think they are going to do oracle you know, the writers on that show are some the most unimaginative writers i have seen. Yet i still watch the show.

Just to clarify, she likely won't be based off of Oracle....but rather Proxy, Oracles replacement.

As for her codename, Guggenheim confirmed it would start with an "A", so she won't be called either of the aforementioned names.

But back to her being Proxy...Proxy is also paralyzed, and her father is the Calculator (who is set to appear on Arrow in 4x12)...

@Arrowverse i hope you are right with the Proxy thing, it would be ludicrous to name her Oracle.

You know what is the worst part, that this season was a major improvement from the last one. They were taking the right approach with Ollie with all that political side of him outside the mantle of GA, even his personality was a little brighter and humorous at times. Now they fvck that up with that "tragedy" making him an angry copycat of Batman again.

The really need to drop that Batman approach ASAP and embrace the real GA.
And i hope the Van Dyke beard soon!

I never had any real beef with Felicity, but I did give up on this show after last season. Not doing it for me any more. Ill probably watch it sooner than later though like Flash season 2, unlike legends of tomorrow

Clearly you don't know shit about me. The reason why i wanted Felicity still on the show is because i like seeing her nice juicy ass every week. Your right Felicity is bad as well but i can at least tolerate her. I am not the only one who agrees that she is a terrible actor and a less believable Canary. Get your head out the clouds.
