New Extended Promo For ARROW Season 3 Episode 13: "Canaries"

VERTIGO (GUEST STAR PETER STORMARE) RETURNS AND PITS CANARY AGAINST BLACK CANARY - Oliver (Stephen Amell) is thrown by the changes within Team Arrow. He's used to calling the shots but sees that the team has evolved in his absence and tensions quickly escalate in the lair. Oliver is furious that Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has been going out as the Black Canary and tells her to stop risking her life, but when Vertigo (guest star Peter Stormare) hits the streets again, Laurel goes against Oliver's wishes and tracks down Vertigo who hits her with a full dose of the drug. Laurel's biggest fears revolve around her sister Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) so the Vertigo causes her to hallucinate an epic fight between Canary and Black Canary. Meanwhile, Chase (guest star Austin Butler) surprises Thea (Willa Holland), and Roy (Colton Haynes) warns Thea to stay away from Malcolm (John Barrowman). Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Emilia Ortega Aldrich (#313).



In the aftermath of this victory, Season 3 opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen — not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

She has one great body I still remember that training scene with oliver and diggle in s2 and those ass shots they would purposely make... Perfer laurel as canary tho it's her destiny to be bc. She looked so fine today! Looking forward to the girl on girl action (:

I know that picture is supposed to make them all look cool, but Arsenal and Arrow look like they're wearing Halloween Condom costumes...Laurel is photoshopped so badly that her left arm (swaying into the background) is longer than her arm that's supposed to be coming forward. And not even in the sense that the artist got the depth perception wrong, her WRIST is actually longer. That doesn't make sense.

Diggle, in the background, is taller than everyone else including Ollie in the foreground, which would mean that if they were side-by-side, Diggle would be 7 feet tall.

Wait...Cut back to Arsenal. Speaking of arms being [frick]ed up by depth-perception, what the [frick] is happening to his right hand? He's standing straight up why is one of his arms a baby arm? That's NOT foreshortening.

And Felicity is wearing a form fitting long sleeve with a skirt...Why does her body look so bulky and big in relation to the size of her head. Seriously, her right hand makes up half of the size of her head.

Arrow is getting really sloppy. What, Brick's NOT a metahuman now? How can he get shot with arrows and then just pull them out like they were nothing? He got shot in the head the first time we saw him, and then claimed the bullet grazed him, but he wasn't fazed.

Now we've got that sloppy Dark Knight Rises scene repeated here with the bad guys, who are holding automatic weapons, facing off against the good guys, who only have sticks and bats. lol. Why would you RUN at someone who's holding a bat, instead of just spraying the whole crowd with your machine gun? Ridiculous.

And they're still going with the Oliver didn't die, nonsense. No wonder John Campea gave up on this show.

Just because there's a Flash show, doesn't make it okay to goofify Arrow.

I suspect that Felicity is almost certainly going to be on the Atom show when it happens, even if she hadn't given that speech at the end. There is just not that much for her do anymore except sit in front of a computer (now that she can't flirt with Oliver), and they already have a female hero with a Canary permanently around.

@Luminus Just as The Dark Knight Rises had Bugs Bunny rules of anatomical science, so does this piss poor Nolan wannabe. Oliver got stabbed twice and thrown 600-1200 feet down a cliff to solid rock. Both stab wounds would be fatal without immediate medical treatment. He laid on that rock for days.

The writers have obviously heard of Targeted Temperature Management but were too lazy, stupid and incompetent to do any research on how it works. A temperature below 30 °C is avoided in the process because of increased bleeding, risk of infection, pneumonia and sepsis.

Arrow was in below freezing temps for days with no protection of any kind. Not only would he have died from hypothermia, he would've incurred frostbite to various bodyparts.

So we have a guy with 2 deep wounds, a fall that would've shattered his skull, damaged his brain, his spine and other bones, and subjected to below freezing temps for days, just wake up because of some herbal tea and penicillin.

The show has had various characters get shot, stabbed and Brick is shot multiple times with Arrows and not even need medical treatment. That's Bugs Bunny Looney Toons writing.

Arrow's producers claim the show is grounded but the show has no logic and no scientific rule of any kind. It has utter idiots writing about things they simply do not understand. Which is why we see such stupidity when Arrow's writers attempt to deal with injuries to the human body or other more simplistic things that are beyond the scope of it's intellectually bankrupt writers.

Are they going to explain how Oliver is alive? Are they really just going to say "herbs, penicillin and will to live"?

I've loved Arrow since day 1, but it's really starting to go downhill.

You people are impatient. They are clearly not finished telling the story of the magical healing. There's a bigger story that somehow connects the herbs, the bioweapons, the mirakuru, and Ra's bathwater.
My guess is that all come from Nanda Parbat's springwater. If that's a Lazarus Pit, then it's best saved for next season.
Expect the mystery to be solved when Rex Tyler shows up as a character.

As badass and skilled a fighter/killer Ra's is, I want to believe Ra's knew Oliver was innocent and he intentionally didn't deliver a fatal strike capable of killing Oliver. Instead, Ra's is much more calculated and intelligent than we're led to believe and he intends to use Oliver to get Merlyn. Ra's knew he didn't kill Oliver or he knew he killed him, but assisted in bringing Oliver back to life, behind the scenes.

If none of that is the case, then I hope we learn there is a magical, yet to be explained way Oliver was brought back to life. There's no way they don't explain/address how Oliver either survived the sword wound and fall OR how Oliver was brought back to life despite the sword wound and fall.
