There's a new Posion Ivy on her way to Gotham to make trouble for Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne and co.

According to Deadline, The Flash and Mad Men actress Peyton List has signed on to play the latest incarnation of the classic Batman villain, who was previously portrayed by both Clare Foley and, more recently, Maggie Geha.

“In the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy’s origin story, Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics,” said Gotham producers in a statement today. “Dangerous. A live wire of crazy energy. She’ll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise.”

It's not clear exactly when list is expected to make her debut as Ivy, but we might not see her until season 5.

What do you guys make of yet another casting change for this character? Let us know in the usual place. Gotham returns with an all-new episode later on tonight.
