The first trailer for DC Universe's Harley Quinn animated series is now online, and this looks like it could be something special.
Clearly taking a page out of Deadpool's playbook (the Merc With a Mouth's own defunct animated show even gets a mention), the teaser is not afraid to poke some fun at Warner Bros.' live-action DC movies, as well as notoriously hard-to-please fanboys.
Check out the teaser - which features Quinn and Poison Ivy introducing the series from Arkham - below and let us know what you think.
Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco will voice Harley, and she'll be joined by the likes of Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale and Chris Meloni - though we're not sure which characters they'll be voicing just yet.
The adult animated action-comedy follows Harley as she breaks things off with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal "queenpin" of Gotham City. The comedy will also feature Poison Ivy and a cast of heroes and villains — old and new — from the DC universe.
