iZOMBIE Star Rahul Kohli Will Voice Scarecrow In The DC Universe's Upcoming HARLEY QUINN Animated Series
iZombie star Rahul Kohli has confirmed, via Twitter, that he has joined the cast of the DC Universe's upcoming Kaley Cuoco-fronted Harley Quinn animated series as the voice of the notorious Scarecrow.
Just a week ago, we learned that Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) would be voicing the title character in the DC Universe's upcoming Harley Quinn animated series and that she'd be joined by a ton of familiar voices, including Lake Bell (Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later), Alan Tudyk (Doom Patrol), Ron Funches (Powerless), JB Smoove (Spider-Man: Far From Home), Jason Alexander (Seinfeld), Wanda Sykes (Black-ish), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Natalie Morales (Parks & Recreation), Jim Rash (Community), Diedrich Bader (Veep), Tony Hale (Arrested Development), and Chris Meloni (Man of Steel).
While the adult-oriented series isn't expected to debut until the latter part of 2019, production is already fully underway and it sounds like there are a couple cast members that weren't included on the initial press release, one of which is Rahul Kohli, who is voicing one of the scariest members of Batman's rogues' gallery.
The iZombie star, who is currently in the midst of filming the fifth and final season of the acclaimed Rose McIver-led series, revealed on Twitter earlier this week that he's been cast as the voice of the villainous Scarecrow and while further details are being kept under wraps for now, we should probably expect him to bring some of his trademark wit to the role.
The adult animated comedy series, HARLEY QUINN, follows Harley’s adventures, where alongside ragtag crew of DC castoffs, she tries to earn a seat at the biggest table in villainy: the Legion of the Doom.
