Supergirl will be back for its third season on October 9, and The CW has released a new promo poster to build hype for the Girl of Steel's return to our screens.

Kara is going to have her hands full with a whole host of new villains this season, and as the poster alludes to, she's going to be taking them on without any help from Mon-El... initially, at least.

Give me all the cheese. This world seriously needs it.

The poster's dark font in the logo hints a bit to the tone they've been aiming for S3.

Just a few more weeks to see what they've got under wraps.

I have enjoyed this show, granted there are some moments that just drag on or characters that add nothing to the show but filler. But as far as TV shows for comic book characters DC is at the top for me with The Flash and Wonder Women (well non netflix)
