The CW has confirmed that Calista Flockhard will return for Supergirl season three and it sounds like she'll be popping in a lot more frequently this time around as she's secured recurring status. She'll first appear in the season premiere on October 9.

Additionally, Adrian Pasdar, Carl Lumbly, Yael Grobglas, and Emma Tremblay have all joined the cast. Pasdar will play Morgan Edge, a ruthless real estate developer who will find himself at odds with Lena Luthor. Lumbly will play J'onn's father M'yrnn J'onzz, a pacifist religious leader on Mars. Grobglas will play Psi, a psychic villain who uses people's minds against them. Tremblay will play Ruby, a smart kid who's fascination with Supergirl lands her in serious trouble.

This honestly looks much better than the other trailers for the shows, but that is just me. Love the new casting and good to see that they are going in the identity crisis route, always loved that man of steel addressed what it meant for clark to be clark and to be superman, and I personally love that aspect for every character, it is universal to most superheros and builds for their characters in any situation

I like how we will be seeing more of Martian Manhunter's family. Hopefully some day with all this extra exposure we'll see a Martian Manhunter DCEU movie. Because I have to believe WB is getting MM more out there so when it is time, people will want to see his movie.

With Morgan Edge joining I hope this means he'll hire David Cain to take out his competition like he did in the comics. Then maybe there will be a chance Cassandra Cain shows up. The best part is she doesn't even need to use the name Batgirl or Black Bat, just have her fighting on the streets.

This show is lots of fun, but I hope they can steer clear of the salty political bias this season. It really takes me out of the moment every time it happens.

I hope they give Erica something substantial to do. She's too good to waste. I already hate that she's portraying an already established recasted character, so let's see where they take it.

Very short teaser in content but I like how they got the actor from Heroes and AoS here, his Morgan Edge already felt a bit intimidating with Lena at the end.

I like the theme of exploring what it means to be human.

The new additions especially M'yrrn J'onzz is interesting. Can't wait.
