I was seeing a client at his home and his siblings had this on while we were working. I would turn my attention to the show whenever I had a chance and from what I can see, it's pretty bad.

You know I was going to put a positive comment on here, but you know, what's the use. I've got just about everyone's number on here, and if you don't have anything negative or better yet, snarky and negative to say, well.......
Kudos to those few who know if you haven't anything nice to say, restrain yourself from saying anything at all.
Personally, I consider myself a positive person when it comes to movies and related movie stuff. I always try to find the good, even in not so good movies. I've been around for a few years and I've never seen people actually reap an amount of glee from starting intentional shit with other people.
It took me a long time to sign up for the comment section, and since I've been on it, it has given me a jaded outlook on a lot of comic book/comic book entertainment fans nowadays. Maybe it's me. Maybe not. I really like the articles posted on here. They are entertaining, timely and informative, and I'll most certainly keep reading them. But, as far as participating in this comment section...I'm out. There are some nice people on here, and I'll miss reading your comments, but to me the bad out weighs the good. I'm sure some will say F you, who cares, your loss! And those are exactly the ones I'm talking about. Peace, and happy holidays to every one.

WTF are people talking about, the ratings are low for SG???? The ratings are great.

@Foolsgoldfinger:

I absolutely feel your pain, man. There's a weird culture of negativity on the internet surrounding comics related stuff, especially as it pertains to DC. There are days when you'll wanna fight the good fight, & then there are days where you just say f&ck it, & never wanna come back.

The only advice I have for you, is to just enjoy what you enjoy, & don't worry about what anyone else says or thinks. People are gonna call you all kinds of names, but don't let that get to you.

If you are half the DC fan that I am, then you are gonna be in for a hard & bumpy road, while dealing with the internet.

Also, you idiots need to understand why SG (& even Gotham) was low this week..... It's gotta compete with MNF, & DWTS. Nobody is EVER gonna win against football, & those competition shows are juggernauts.

None of this is a reflection against Gotham & SG whatsoever. Hopefully the networks are smarter than most of you nerds, & are able to figure this out.

@ SAMURAI36

They are refering to the TV ratings that are used for cancellation or renewal.

It's not great at all for a new show.

It went from 3.1 to 1.5 in only 5 episode in, on its first season.

So it is still in its floating period of time where it is likely to fall again before it finally stabilize.

To give a comparison, a 1.5 rating is what Gotham got at the end or early season 2.

AOS got to that point on season 2, episode 7.

Constantine was cancelled when it hit something between 0.8 and 1 several times.

Add that SG is on NBC where they expect even bigger ratings than similar products at other channel and you have a product that may end up too low before the end of its first season to be considered for renewal.

To me it has to stay above 1.3 before hitting episode 12 to have a chance to get a second season since each season is likely to erode the rating.

It has to stabilize quick now otherwise it is in danger for cancellation.

@ Jazzy4:

I'm quite aware of what the ratings represent. Maybe you didn't read my second post, about why the ratings are where they are right now. TV shows don't exist in a vacuum; they coexist alongside other shows as well.

Also, SG is not on NBC.
