With exactly one month to go, The CW has released the first official promo for their highly anticipated "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover and even though it only runs about fifteen seconds, there's plenty to unpack as characters from across the multiverse unite to save reality
.
The promo offers a look at The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) uniting some unexpected faces with The Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). Then, we catch a look at Kingdom Come Superman (Brandon Routh), Black Lightning (Cress Williams) and another team-up between Batwoman (Ruby Rose), Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara) and the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell).
The crossover will see iconic DC characters from
Supergirl,
The Flash, Arrow,
Legends of Tomorrow,
Batwoman,
Black Lightning,
Birds of Prey,
Lucifer and
Smallville unite to save the multiverse from the biggest threat it's ever seen.
The epic crossover will feature a ton of returning special guest stars from all across the multiverse, including Tom Welling as Clark Kent/Superman (
Smallville), Erica Durance as Lois Lane (
Smallville), LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor/Anti-Monitor, Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman (Earth-38), Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane (Earth-38), Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash (Earth-90), Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Osric Chau as Ryan Choi/The Atom, Ashley Scott as Helena Kyle/Huntress (
Birds of Prey), Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Stephen Lobo as Jim Corrigan/The Spectre, Burt Ward in an undisclosed role and Kevin Conroy as future Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Both Brandon Routh (
Legends of Tomorrow) and Tom Cavanagh (
The Flash) will be pulling double (and possibly triple) duty for their respective shows. Routh will suit up as both The Atom and Kingdom Come Superman, while Cavanagh is expected to play Pariah in addition to the latest iteration of Harrison Wells as well as the Reverse-Flash.
"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins with
Supergirl on December 8, followed by
Batwoman on December 9,
The Flash on December 10 and concludes with an
Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14, 2020.
