The CW's entire DC TV slate is currently on their spring hiatus, but when the action resumes at the end of the month, prepare for some big-time developments.

On Supergirl, Jack Spheer (a.k.a. Lena's ex-boyfriend) will make his debut and hold a press conference to debut his latest breakthrough in nano-technology, but when Kara Danvers, in an attempt to get back in Snapper Carr's good graces, begins pressing him on the matter to show off her reporter skills, all hell breaks loose.

Meanwhile, in a Tom Cavanagh-directed episode of The Flash, Barry will make his long-awaited trip to 2024 where he'll attempt to discover Savitar's identity, but he runs into something unexpected when he meets the future versions of his S.T.A.R. Labs team, who have become shells of their former selves after the death of Iris. Elsewhere, back in 2017, Killer Frost begins to wreak havoc in Central City!

Check out the new plot synopses below:

“Ace Reporter” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

“IZOMBIE’S” RAHUL KOHLI GUEST STARS – Lena’s (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack’s conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she’s inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish (#218). Original airdate 4/24/2017.

"The Once and Future Flash” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; BARRY TRAVELS TO THE FUTURE TO SAVE IRIS – Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar. It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues. Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie (#319). Original airdate 4/25/2017.

@UncleClimax - Hey, they've actually reminded us far less than DC ever did with the Batwoman book. Every other panel in that book was LGBT propaganda.

@UncleClimax - what are you talking about? the transition from CBS to CW was pretty seemless. Aside from the recent song and dance crossover, they seem to know what theyre doing...

Judas contract came out three days ago and there isn't a single article out on it yet. I need to hear people's opinions lol. I also have a question and need a place to ask about it without worrying about spoiling it for anyone.

I'm very curious to see what Supergirl will do with nano-tech, after what The Flash did with Abra Kadabra and his "magical" tricks, which were pretty awesome, I am looking a lot this episode. Better if Lena ends up finding about her identity.

As for The Flash this paints to be possibly a game-changer episode. We already saw 3 future versions in the preview: that sad, uncombed Barry, Cisco and who appeared to be a wheelchair bound Wally. I'm iffy about that future Barry though until the hiatus returns. I got like a bad feeling.

I hope that Cisco and Wally team up as Vibe and Kid Flash to chase Killer Frost.

These episodes hold a lot of potential.

Also, Legends of Tomorrow's EP just confirmed that Rip Hunter will return in Season 3 and that once S3 begins it will be explain why this change to the timeline won't affect right away Arrow nor The Flash.

My theory is still that Savitar is Eddie Thawne. That metal suit is made of the cobalt plates that got sucked through the wormhole with Eddie's body. That's why Abracadabra called him a pretender, and that's why he's vulnerable under the armor. He's not a speedster. He's just absorbing Speed Force through the suit.
Plus he's got a solid reason to hate Barry and Iris. And in the comics, there's only one Flash villain that wears a suit of armor, and that's Cobalt Blue, a relative of Eobard's.

@rabid - man Eddie was such a stand up dude. It's kind of sad everyone always assumes he's whoever the mysterious evil speedster of the season, just cause all the Thawnes were evil in the comics.
MeAreLegend

@rabid - Its Future Barry. Think about it. This seasons theme has been how power corrupts people.
inb4 "Why does Future Barry kill Iris then, huh?" Think about it this way- Iris dies and Barry becomes insane and becomes Savitar himself. Then he has to kill Iris in order for him to exist.

Also the actor who portrais Eddie is on another show so hes really busy

@FishyZombie - They've always planned to bring Eddie back. It's the entire reason they included the scene with the cobalt plates in the first season finale. Eobard insisted that Cisco install them, and then later in the episode they get ripped off the walls and pulled into the wormhole.

@MeAreLegend - He can't be that busy. He just showed up two episodes ago... and for what reason? Just foreshadowing.

Savitar is Cobalt Blue.

No version of Barry would ever kill Iris.
FishyZombie

Why would Barry go to the future when Caitlin's gone rogue?
Also I'm 90% sure that HR is Savitar. I don't buy these "it's future Barry" bullshit. Makes no sense. And people said the same thing about RF and Zoom. It's totally HR.

"It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for."

Maybe Barry should focus on being a hero to his present-day friends first, rather than bossing them around, treating them like tools for his own selfish desires, or otherwise being arrogant, condescending, overly judgmental AND mistake-prone.
