Tonight's installment held the focus on Ralph Dibny's journey to becoming a full-fledged superhero and by all accounts, he certainly made some significant process towards his goal by the end of the hour.

Now, as we approach Barry and Iris' long-awaited wedding day, things are really starting to heat up and it looks like next week's episode will finally see Barry Allen sit down with this season's big bad, Clifford DeVoe, a.k.a. The Thinker. Also, judging by the new episode preview, it looks like their meeting will leave Barry acting a little bizarre as he learns more about DeVoe's past through a variety of flashback sequences.

Watch the new promo for episode seven, titled "Therefore I Am," below:

"Therefore I Am" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

BARRY MEETS DEVOE - Barry (Grant Gustin) comes face to face with DeVoe (guest star Neil Sandilands). Devoe's past is revealed through flashbacks. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) puts the final touches on the wedding, which is a week away. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Eric Wallace & Thomas Pound (#407). Original airdate 11/21/2017.

Last season, Barry Allen aka The Flash used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, and inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint. The phenomenon not only gave birth to the villainous God of Speed known as Savitar, but changed the lives of Caitlin Snow and Wally West forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Detective Joe West, his fiancée Iris West, and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs – Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it. But first, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force – an extra-dimensional entity teeming with unknown dangers – that Barry sacrificed himself to in order to save Central City.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash

Wow it looks kind of a thriller kind of episode. DeVoe is messing with Barry to drive to almost a paranoic point.

I thought Neil Sandilands had shaved his hair for this role but it seems the Thinking Cap is just very good at covering it. It also seems that he is a lawyer in this version.

Also was that a painting for a samurai? Like that is where he got his inspiration from the Samuroid?

Can't wait.

Solid episode. The whole Cisco and Harry subplot was dumb, but Barry and Ralph got a great dynamic. Bottom line, Elongated Man is one of the best things to ever happen to this show. Completely forgot Barry even had a sidekick in Wally.

I don't feel like it has had a lot of terrible episodes, it's just that for most of this season (this episode included) it has felt like the show has been spinning it's wheels, going nowhere and doing nothing exciting. I'm sure them losing their show runner mid season really isn't going to help that.

An ok episode, my only issue was with Wells, it served no purpose, but everything else was fine i guess...
The next episode seems way more interesting tho.
