Next week, both Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) and Jesse Quick (Violett Beance) make their way back to Earth-1 to lend Barry (Grant Gustin) a hand when a nuclear bomb goes off in downtown Central City. With their options limited, the trio enter Flashtime to slow down time just long enough to find a way to save everyone they love.

Following her appearance next week, we'll also see Jesse again on DC's Legends of Tomorrow in the March 15th episode, which is titled "Necromancing the Stone." That hour will also reportedly see Matt Ryan reprise his role as the fan-favorite John Constantine.

Watch the new promo for episode fifteen, titled "Enter Flashtime," below:

Last season, Barry Allen aka The Flash used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, and inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint. The phenomenon not only gave birth to the villainous God of Speed known as Savitar, but changed the lives of Caitlin Snow and Wally West forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Detective Joe West, his fiancée Iris West, and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs – Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it. But first, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force – an extra-dimensional entity teeming with unknown dangers – that Barry sacrificed himself to in order to save Central City.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick
Tom Felton as Julian Dorn
Danielle Nicolet as Cecille Horton
Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man
Neil Sandilands as Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker

The Flash returns with an all-new episode January 30

Poor Ralph, that scene as Izzy was being brainwashed (literally) was sad. She made for a good potential Fiddler. At least we know they can pull off those skills with a fiddler and it can still look cool.

DeVoe is just too haxxed. Bad luck charm to cut Izzy's strings, brain aneurysm from Dominic to stop Barry, casually rezising a junkbox and throwing it like Dwarfstar and Kilg%re's ability > the proto Cerebro Inhibitor. They need to fix that and make it stronger.

I wonder why and how DeVoe is able to sense when Cisco is vibing. Something similar happened when he was trying to find his lair in 4x09 and he ended up getting hit as well.

TBH Izzy's body won't last longer either. Every body he swaps eventually wears off because his consciousness still carries his super meta human brain and limitless thought with it. At this pace they might actually go and make him develop or end up in a A.I. body just like in the comics, that body won't exert any energy and he will be able to do anything. Worse, he would be even more untouchable than ever.

Flashtime is confirmed to be what Barry did in 4x10 with Iris. But it seems that he can't just take a moment to rest and has to always be moving. No wonder wjhy Jesse and Jay Garrick arrive, one just can't always be moving all the time and keeping up ability up all by yourself.

And he can share it with the others as well it seems.

Also and like the final post, I liked that even though Barry is a free man now that does not mean everything's back to normal, he can't practice his job until all of the city and there's undeniable evidence that DeVoe is truly alive. That feels like things will come to a head and the city will find out that DeVoe is The Thinker and a villain responsible for the events ever since that bus.

Nice to see that Fallout was included in the meta list of his. Although he in particular doesn't have his powers yet. Just like he doesn't with the Weepers. Unless they just are subjects that he was hoping for to get.

The final scene with Barry and Ralph was nice.

This is how the Cerebro Inhibitor will look like in a few episodes. Upgraded.

Meh episode, subplot with Cecile was weak.
This isn’t a terrible season overall, just an extremely, boringly decent one. The friendship between Barry and Dibny is nice though, I hope to see it grow more and for Barry to be more like he was season 1

Is it just me, or did they add a bit of Ultra-Humanite to this version of the Thinker?

This episode was whatever but the concept of next weeks looks amazing.

I don't know how, but the flash manages to get dumber by the episode. From Ralph falling in love in a few hours, to Cisco randomly figuring out where DeVoe's hideout is and explaining it with a hologram, to Harry figuring out the cerebral inhibitor in 2 minutes. Christ, it's like an 8 year old is writing this show.

@RageDriver2401 - Or maybe you don't grasp the idea of TIME JUMPS. Does everything need to be spelled out for you? As it was, I facepalmed when they added in the "6 hours later" subtitle during Izzy's training. Did they really think we were too dumb to figure out time had passed?

And how is it dumb to fall in love in a few hours? Do you even comic book? I swear nobody on this site actually reads Silver Age.

@GAThrawnIGF - Christ you're actually defending falling in love in 6 hours?

And last I checked 6 qualifies as few, genius.

OK episode, but the next one looks more interesting with the Flash family!

This season would be better if the villains scenes werent such a chore to watch the poor overacting by everyone who's been the leader except the original. Should've just stuck with him
