THE FLASH: The Reverse-Flash Returns In The New Promo For Season 6, Episode 15: "The Exorcism of Nash Wells"

Well, how about that for an unexpected twist? We've known for some time that something's been off with Nash Wells ever since Crisis, and it looks like next week's episode will finally expose the truth.

While he was presumed dead after Crisis, it looks like the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh) is still very much alive and has somehow managed to take control of his doppelgänger Nash Wells' unsuspecting body, which looks like it's going to mean serious trouble for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) in next week's episode of The Flash.

Meanwhile, the situation with Mirror-Iris (Candice Patton) continues to get worse, and it looks like she may have either taken Cecille (Danielle Nicolet) as her prisoner or claimed her as her first victim.

"The Exorcism of Nash Wells" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

A DANGEROUS NEW META HITS CENTRAL CITY - The Flash (Grant Gustin) takes on a dangerous new meta named Sunshine (guest star Natalie Sharp). Cisco (Carlos Valdes) sets out to help Nash (Tom Cavanagh). Eric Dean Seaton directed the episode written by Lauren Barnett & Sterling Gates (#615). Original airdate 3/17/2020.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash

I haven’t watched this show in years but Reverse Flash....I really dig the reverse flash arc from season one and love him in the comics. Maybe I’ll check it out. Maybe😏

Dude, they are still bringing Thawne back? I stopped watching since season 4, now I know that aside from Green Arrow's death, I haven't missed nothing.

@JustALurker - You really haven’t. This show hasn’t been consistently good since Season 2.

Season 6 has some good ideas... but it’s overstuffed with melodrama and has wayy too many characters to focus on.

It would be nice if they updated his suit though. This seasons Flash suit is perfect and it would be great to see a reverse version of it.

@McGribble - not sure that material would look right in yellow, but he needs a new costume.

Fine, I'll create my own Speed Force! With Blackjack, and hookers. In fact, forget the Blackjack, and the Speed Force.

Thought this was one of the best episodes of the Flash in a while, quite good tonight.

First off, what an entrance Wally made with that helicopter, that was some neat shit! He was doing things in this episode with his speed powers that even Barry hasn't figured out to do, and it made me think that Wally was much more powerful than Barry. It was nice to have Wally back, really liked the growth that he has had during his time away. Wish that he had stuck around for a bit, but this show has largely done a terrible job with the character so not much of a surprise they wrote him off once again. At least he recognized that something was off with Iris.

I thought the aspect of the speed force dying, and this being the real after effect of Crisis for this show was really neat. Really excited for the show to explore this more going forward, glad its going to seemingly be the main storyline for the rest of the season. Neat that Spectre's energy led to the death of the speed force. Also excited for Thawne to be back in a really evil, nefarious and somewhat permanent way. He was the best part of the otherwise stupidly mediocre season 5, so interested in seeing Barry v Thawne going forward.

Speaking of Iris, I'm guessing that Iris sent Kamilla to the mirror dimension, doubt they would have allowed the show to kill off someone like Kamilla. But I do wonder...

A few odds and ends that I noticed: I will say, Barry was a bit of a dick towards Wally in the beginning; six seasons in and he is still hiding and lying about stuff. Atlantis was mentioned a lot tonight, wonder if this wasn't an accident. I also liked that we had a bit of continuity with Batwoman going on with doppelgangers, as Cisco notes that any doppelganger would have deteriorated the same way neurologically that Alice and Beth did.

Will have to watch Legends tomorrow.

1. Black Lightning (pretty good)
2. Flash (quite good)
3. Supergirl (alright)
4. Batwoman (mediocre)

What an opening scene. Seemed like a another way of creating speed mirages.

I hope Keiynan Lonsdale can recur more or become a series regular for Season 7. Does not hurt to have the Flash Family close by.
