With the situation as dire as its ever been, it doesn't look like The Flash will be celebrating Valentine's Day this season - but when the show does return in two weeks, the whole team will have their hands full with Gorilla Grodd and his newfound home in Gorilla City.

The episode will see half of the S.T.A.R. Labs team, including Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, and Julian, travel to Earth-2 to rescue Earth-2 Harrison Wells from Gorilla City, but when they arrive on-site they get a little more than they bargained for and find themselves held captive as well.

The CW has released thirteen new promotional stills from episode thirteen, titled "Attack on Gorilla City," featuring a look at a Caitlin & Julian connection, the team caged up, and the return of Earth-2's Harrison Wells. Check them all out below:

"Attack on Gorilla City" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

BARRY AND TEAM TRAVEL TO GORILLA CITY AND FACE GRODD - When Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) informs the team that her father (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted, Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) voyage to Earth-2 on a rescue mission to save Harry from Gorilla City. As they trek through the forest, Barry and the team are immediately captured and brought to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov). Grodd tells them he needs their help to stop Solovar (voiced by Keith David), the leader of Gorilla City, as Solovar wants to invade Earth-1. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) hit the streets to stop a metahuman that can control gravity, with H.R. and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) guiding them from S.T.A.R. Labs. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & David Kob (#313). Original airdate 2/21/2017.

Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom's game and uncovers the evil speedster's true goal: to destroy all the earths in the multiverse. In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

I just hope this episode isn't a cop out, where we only see a few minutes of Grodd. I hope CW saved their pennies for this one.

haha first they include Tom Felton in a story with references to the Philosopher Stone (and yes I know the Philsopher Stone has been in fiction for centuries and was also part of Alchemy's storyline in the comics decades before Harry Potter)

and now they are locking him up in a cage in a story with a talking ape...will the coincidences ever end haha

and he has been an asshole in all three roles too...poor Tom, always cast as an utter asshole haha
