While their partnership may have gotten off to a slightly rocky start in last week's midseason premiere, it sounds like Barry is finally ready to take Wally under his wing over the course of the next few episodes, which should result in a lot of high-speed fun. As for when we'll get to see the duo in action, it looks like episode twelve, titled "Untouchable," is a good bet as it'll feature a subplot with the Scarlet Speedster helping Kid Flash elevate his game to the next level.

Check out the new "Lightning Strikes Twice" poster below:

Plus, look who's back on-set:
"Dead or Alive" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

DC COMICS' GYPSY ARRIVES ON EARTH-1 - H.R.'s (Tom Cavanagh) past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out inter-dimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders but when Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) find out that H.R.'s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead. Harry Jierjian directed the episode with story by Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes and teleplay by Zack Stentz (#311). Original airdate 1/31/2017.

Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom's game and uncovers the evil speedster's true goal: to destroy all the earths in the multiverse. In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick

LAST again - so how is the Flash series now? Still masses of other speedsters about?

@hummingbird68 - yup, just like in the comics

@hummingbird68 - @CaptainAmerica I still dont understand the hate for the speedsters in this tv show. The Speedsters and the speedforce are a key piece of the lore of The Flash. This would be like Batman without his crazy and dark twisted villains or his Batfamily.

The Flash Family is a key piece of the comics: Barry Allen, Wally West, Johnny Quick, Jesse Quick, Jay Garrick, Impulse and Max Mercury.

So the evil speedsters are too: Eobard Thawne, Hunter Zolomon, Red Trinity, Lady Flash, Savitar, Cicada, Godspeed, Future Flash, The Rival, Inertia, Daniel West and you could add Cobalt Blue to this list if you want.

So the show has done his job adapting the comics, the problem of this show have never been the speedsters, but how mediocre and repetitive the writing tends to be.

The problem of this show is that while the writers dont seen to have a problem rewriting and mixing together different evil speedsters into one character, they dont seen to do the same with the Rogues.

And the Rogues are pretty simple characters with really cool designs and powers. But they are all thiefs, killers and criminals with really basic motivations this writers clearly dont know how to deal with...

@AleSir19 - yup! The problem isn't the speedsters, it's how the villains are written. Season 1 was great, season 2 fell off a bit, season 3 started a bit slow, hopefully it ends great.

@AleSir19 - my issue with is the main villains are always speedsters. I feel it gets repetitive and it's lazy writing. The show can be more interesting if the big bad was just the same as thr heroes.

It would be like if Superman only fought Kryptonians. Not interesting.

I'm loving how they've been handling the Flash Family members so far.

While briefly he taught Jesse enough. With Jay, who's been handled a little less, it has been to bring wisdom to the use of Speed Force and the nature of time travel and now with Wally it'll be the team up dynamic from the comics. Plus, I think Barry will let him deal with more things in the same fashion Joe advised him (the whole "swimming" thing) so that he develops more as an speedster & builds up his own reputation.

In that way they can handle different things instead of doing the same thing and running the issue of either not getting things done despite there being 2 of them or the poorly "too many speedsters" complain. (Anyone that knows about Flash comics would know there is nothing wrong in this)

I wonder if Arrow and/or LoT are next in getting their own posters.

Can't wait for Tuesday!

We need a serious team up of villains against the flash, something challenging that forces all of team flash to bring their A game. Something fresh and nasty.
