Grant Gustin On How Soon Savitar Shows Up In THE FLASH Season 3

At Entertainment Weekly's Pop Fest celebration, Grant Gustin answers a young fan's questions about how soon season 3 will introduce another evil Speedster to torment Central City's Scarlet Speedster.

We've seen The Rival menace Flash and Kid Flash in the season premiere but that was in an alternate timeline.  With season three currently unfolding in yet another alternate timeline, and 19 episodes remaining, how soon will Savitar make his presence felt?  At EW's Pop Fest yesterday, Grant Gustin stated, "Very soon. Very, Very soon.  You won't have to wait long, I promise. No spoilers."

Executive Producer Greg Berlanti elaborated,  "His name is Savitar.  He is the God of Motion, so Flash is up against his biggest foe yet."

With baddies like The Rival, Dr. Alchemy, Savitar, Reverse-Flash and The Rogues, Barry can certainly use the extra help provided by Jay Garrick, Liberty Belle and possibly Vibe and Kid Flash.

The Flash is all new this Tuesday at 8/7c on The CW.

Barry messes up a lot. He freaking put himself in the position to allow his mom to be killed in order to fix the timeline.

I would've just liked it if Alchemy was the big-bad, no need for it to be a speedster.

We already had two new ones in 4 episodes, lets take a break from that.

@Pathogen - I can diggle. Going on a tangent here, but I'm the same way with ghost stories. I've had experiences, but can't roll my eyes back far enough when someone tells me theirs. I call myself a hypocritical skeptic.

I never thought I'd be saying this but The Flash is now far worse than LOT and Arrow. More speedsters has done nothing for the series.

I am disappointed that they are focusing on speedsters again. I would love to see something like the clock king, where he is very slow and methodical in what he is doing, planning everything very meticulously. he knows how fast berry is and has things planned out to where Berry can not beat him with speed alone. The clock King could control different rogues of the week, giving them plans and directions, slowly testing Berry and wearing him down.

Berry is suppose to be extremely smart but all they do is go faster and faster. Just run at your problem and punch really fast. That is the downside of any fictional character, they can only be as smart as the people who write the story, and dont get me wrong, i really enjoy a lot of the stuff Christberg and Berlanti have done but the villains are the bad parts a lot of times on the shows after the 1st season. They have a great Idea for that 1st season and how the villain will interact with the main character but then after that they just try to repeat with other villains instead of making a new story concept with a different villain.
