New TITANS Images Provide Our First Look At Jason Todd Suited-Up As The Boy Wonder

We got a glimpse of actor Curran Walters as Jason Todd on the set of Titans a couple of months ago, but now thanks to IGN we have our first look at the character fully suited-up as Robin.

As we know, the DC Universe show will find Dick Grayson striking out on his own in an attempt to get out from the shadow of the Bat, but it seems The Dark Knight will waste little time in bringing on a replacement sidekick.

These stills don't seem to suggest a particularly friendly meeting between the Boy Wonders! Maybe Dick is mad that Robin #2 is sporting an almost identical costume.

Here's what showrunner Greg Walker had to say about this first ever live-action incarnation of Jason Todd:

"What I really love about [Jason] as a character is the unbridled sense of self that he has - there’s a lack of... maybe self-awareness, but for sure self-consciousness in terms of how he comports himself and how he moves through the world. He’s completely seemingly unaffected by darkness - he kind of embraces it or walks right through it. He’s a breath of fresh air and that’s what I love about him, he’s got a punk rock, no-holds-barred attitude that’s massively unburdened. There’s a lot of energy that comes with that."

Titans is set to premiere in the DC Universe streaming service on October 12.
