Ahead of the show's appearance at New York Comic-Con this weekend - where we should likely expect an official trailer launch and premiere date - HBO Max has released a first look at the season four villains.

Joseph Morgan (The Vampire DiariesThe Originals) will suit up as Sebastian Blood, a.k.a. Brother Blood, while Franka Potente (The Bourne IdentityThe Conjuring 2) will portray May Bennett, a.k.a. Mother Mayhem, and Lisa Ambalavanar (The A ListDoctors) will recur as the dark magic master Jinx.

Further details are unavailable, but it sounds like our heroes will have their work cut out for them with these three evildoers.

Blood is described as "an introverted man with a strong intelligence and a hidden, darker nature." Mayhem's character description calls her, "a natural leader who always carries the threat of violence with her... a predator in human form with an unfettered belief in her mission in the world.;" whereas Jinx is "a quick-witted criminal loner and a master of dark magic with a joy for manipulating others and creating chaos while doing it."

Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson/Nightwing), Anna Diop (Koriand'r/Starfire), Teagan Croft (Rachel Roth/Raven), Ryan Potter (Gar Logan/Beast Boy), Conor Leslie (Donna Troy), Joshua Orpin (Conner Kent/Superboy), Damaris Lewis (Komand'r/Blackfire) and Jay Lycurgo (Tim Drake) are all expected to reprise their respective roles.

Additionally, Titus Welliver (Bosch; Deadwood) has joined the cast in a recurring capacity as the iconic DC Comics villain Lex Luthor.

No word on the premiere date, but the show is expected to return sometime in November.
