WATCHMEN First-Look Revealed As Production On The HBO Series Officially Gets Underway
Production on HBO's upcoming Watchmen TV series is now underway, and Damon Lindelof has revealed a first-look image of a mysterious character along with what appears to be the show's logo. Check it out...
As production kicks-off on HBO's Watchmen, the first official image and logo are now online.
Though not particularly exciting, the pic does give us a look at one of the show's characters... even if we can't tell which one! Whoever it is sports a yellow mask and police uniform combo, which could well be the standard cop uniform in this alternate reality.
The plot of this re-imagining remains shrouded in mystery, but we do know that it won't be a direct adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' iconic source material.
Watchmen stars Regina King (American Crime), Jeremy Irons (Justice League), Don Johnson (Django Unchained), Tim Blake Nelson (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman). The show is expected to premiere sometime next year.
