Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its sixth season next week and while details are scarce, the season will pickup one year after the events of season five with the team scattered across the galaxy, still coming to terms with their decisions from the previous season, which led to the disappearance of Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and the loss of Coulson (Clark Gregg).

As for the new cast members, Karolina Wydra will play Izel, a mercenary from another galaxy who joins forces with the S.H.I.E.L.D. team in order to survive the perils of space, Christopher James Baker will play Malachi, a mysterious assassin from a distant planet, and Barry Shabaka Henley will play Dr. Marcus Benson, a brilliant Natural Sciences professor recruited to offer his expertise to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.

Get your first look at the three new characters below:

Coulson discovers that some, but not all, of his S.H.I.E.L.D. colleagues were taken with him and placed onboard the ship. As they come in contact with some of the vessel’s inhabitants, it becomes abundantly clear that something has gone terribly awry, and the team will need to figure out their role and delve deeper into this nightmarish mystery to try to right what has gone incredibly wrong. Together, they will have to discover where they are and how to get home while the clock ticks out on humanity.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. features:
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May
Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake
Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz
Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons
Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie
Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns May 10

It's Marvel post.

If Endgame follows typical pattern and have 40% drop at the box office for second weekend. Avengers Endgame will be over 700 million domestic. This includes Monday through Thursday numbers. !!!

Avengers Endgame will only be 60 million away from toping Avatars domestic box office number.

@DoubleD - Black Panther and Infinity War both almost passed Avatar's domestic at $700 and $678... i am more concerned with its foreign box office of $2.015 billion... that's where the meat and potatoes are for me.

@JonC - Week 1 currently foreign is at 948 million and with Monday thru Thursday number should be well into over 1 billion going into week 2 :)

China already topped Avatar full run in opening weekend :)

I literally Just got done watching a 52 minute YouTube video of every movie trailer from the MCU. Didn’t even budge, didn’t feel like an hour. I remember watching every trailer when they originally came out on this site lol. I think Endgame is going to stay with me for a very long time. Idk how I’m still reeling from that movie. I’ve watched an MCU movie every single day since seeing it in the theater. It just makes going back and watching the movies so much better. I love how Endgame sowed a lot of things up. I feel like the chapter is officially closed. It was the best book I ever watched 😩

Doctor Marcus Benson should be the expert and probably explain why "Sarge" looks like their fallen leader and friend, Coulson.

IDK why I get vibes that Izel could betray the team. We'll see.

If this season takes place a year after last season then that would mean it's a year into the snappening...hmmm
