DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Star Charlie Cox Teases One Major Difference Between Netflix And Disney+ Series

Heading into Spider-Man: No Way Home, there were rumblings online that Charlie Cox might reprise the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the long-awaited threequel. It seemed a little too good to be true, but when we finally sat down to watch the movie in theaters, the Man Without Fear did indeed show up as Peter Parker's lawyer.

We later got to see Matt in the courtroom in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, though he'd also suit up for a memorable team-up with Jennifer Walters.

Next up is Daredevil: Born Again (along with a possible cameo role in Echo), and during a recent interview with GQ, Cox revealed one big difference between what we saw on Netflix and the eighteen-episode Disney+ series.

"I think because of the number of episodes they've committed to, there'll be a heavy influence of courtroom stuff - Matt Murdock, the lawyer, in the new show" he explained. "So I'm heavily focused on researching that area of this character and his life. It was one of the areas we didn't do a huge amount of exploration around before."

Asked if he feels like he's already settled back into the character, Cox responded, "No, no. To date, I've only done that cameo in Spider-Man and the one episode in She-Hulk, which was tonally so different from anything I'd done before."

"So no, I'm now in the process of preparing for next year when we shoot the show: I've re-reading the comics from start to finish, and I'm just starting to try to get back into shape for a role like that."

Everything we've seen from the actor in the MCU has been great, and with Vincent D'Onofrio also reprising his role as The Kingpin, all signs point to Daredevil: Born Again being a must-see TV series.

Cox is clearly taking his Daredevil return as one project at a time, but there are already rumours the character will be part of Spider-Man 4. As great as it's been to see the hero on the small screen, we'd say 'ol Hornhead definitely deserves to be properly showcased in theaters somewhere down the line.

As always, keep checking back here for updates.

OT but Way of Water passed a billion at the box office…Considering a good portion of the United States was stuck at home over the past several days, I’d imagine the numbers will get a boost once they can get into theaters…Plus nothing else until Quantumania in a month and a half…This thing might actually touch 2 billion…

I always loved legal dramas, so I'm all for it.

That part was very weak in the Netflix show.

And please, no more 10 episodes story. Tv shows are not movies or mini series. If you can't solve your plot in 3 45 min episodes, it's shit writing.

"Re-reading the comics from start to finish"

Good on ya Charlie.

But will the actual writers be doing the same?
