The Daily Mail has debuted some new snaps from the set of Marvel and Netflix's The Defenders, and while they're not terribly exciting, they do give us a first look at the returning Trish Walker. It was recently announced that Aussie actress Rachael Taylor would reprise the role (along with pretty much every other supporting cast member across all of the Netflix shows), and here we see "Patsy" stepping out for coffee with Jessica Jones, who really could do with a new outfit at this stage.

Krysten Ritter has featured in all of the set pics we've so far, so it shouldn't be long before we catch a glimpse of some of her super-powered team-mates.

Please Marvel and Netflix let us see Rachael Taylor in costume as Hellcat at some point during this whole Marvel Netflix thing, preferably before or during a second season of The Defenders.

@TheUnworthyThor - I think she'll become Hellcat in the Defenders...

@CharIieBoy - I'm cool with that. But with all they have to accomplish in this season I imagine it might make more sense to see become Hellcat during the second season of Jessica Jones.

@TheUnworthyThor - I could see her starting to fight some crime similar to how we got in season 1 of Jessica Jones but I don't see a logical explanation for a costume or why they would need a person who is recently trained in low level fighting when they have JJ, DD, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Elektra, The Punisher, Colleen Wing etc. at their disposal. She'll most likely remain in the role she has now in my opinion and I would kind of rather that.

@EnnisFan - But in Jessica Jones they don't have all those people, they have Jessica and potentially her. And there's never a reasonable explanation for a superhero costume but superheroes where the uniform anyway. And after Trish sees and interacts with Daredevil and probably Iron Fist in costume she could obviously see the advantages of one especially since she is a celebrity and will want to hide her identity.

I don't think there is a cap to the number of crime fighters around New York, not in Netflix's eyes, and it seems odd to have cast Rachael Taylor as Hellcat and not expect to one day use the character. She was a higher profile actor than most of the actors they have cast along the way.

@TheUnworthyThor - We've still yet to see an Iron Fist costume and all of the other MCU costumes have logical reasoning behind them. Hellcat's costume is pretty out there to make the jump from page to screen especially as her comics have a very different tone than JJ does. You do make sense with hiding her identity I just don't see where she would get the fighting skills and they already have done away with her powers on Netflix.

I personally like her role as it is now. Could not see her holding her weight in a fight after a few years of kickboxing training in her downtime though and would rather her stay as the voice of reason and her nuanced relationship with JJ than to have them force a crimefighter just for fan service.

@EnnisFan - But we aren't talking about her becoming an Avenger and taking on aliens and killer robots. Daredevil's best scenes were him taking on thugs and bikers with minimal fight training if any. Surely between Daredevil, Stick, Elektra, Iron Fist and Colleen Wing someone could train her. Plus with IGH and the supplements somewhere out there she could concievably gain some type of powers or enhancements. And her costume I imagine would provide the same type of protection Daredevil's does so I don't see a problem with her putting on some form of Hellcat costume.

@TheUnworthyThor - Daredevil was trained by Stick since he was a young kid. All I'm saying is it's their amount of training that makes us believe that they can take on people like The Hand, which everyone seems to assume Defenders is going to be about. So you could be right in JJ S2 conceivably, it would just take a lot of training and stuff that I'm not positive they would want to take time with in 8 episodes.

@TheUnworthyThor - I think it would be so awesome if patsy don's the Hellcat suit!!! She would be awesome along side Jessica Jones, both them kicking ads back to back!!

Jessica Jones.

Now that's how you do a strong independent female character. Not one who spends ages wondering about how she's going to get a boyfriend or picking between two different guys.

With all these characters showing up I hope the Defenders will focus on the Defenders and I also hope they don't overshadow one over the others.
