Believe it or not, it's been two years since Disney+ was launched in North America, and the streaming service is celebrating today with a mixture of premieres and sneak peeks.
We'll be keeping you updated with those throughout the day, but Good Morning America kicked things off earlier with the first clip from Hawkeye. In that, Kate Bishop bickers with Clint Barton about his lack of branding, especially after he points out that one of Times Square's Avengers is The Hunger Games' Katniss Everdeen, and not Hawkeye.
The dynamic between these two will clearly be a highlight, and it's no wonder it was mentioned so frequently in the first reactions from critics and journalists to the first two episodes.
Check out the clip and a few new stills from Hawkeye below:
"Set in post-blip New York City, former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero," reads the synopsis for the series. "The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit."
Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Helmed by Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye is set to debut exclusively on Disney+ on November 24, 2021...with the first two episodes!
