We're now just mere days away from the debut of Loki on Disney+, and that means there's not long left until we get to catch up with the glorious God of Mischief. The series will pick up where Avengers: Endgame left off in 2012, revealing what came next for this "Variant" version of the villainous trickster.
There's a lot of new footage to be found in this latest TV spot for the show, akthough it definitely feels like Marvel Studios is making a deliberate effort to keep the bigger reveals under wraps. That makes sense, especially as it promises to take us on what could be our first trip into the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of the Multiverse.
Fret not, though, as more about Loki will soon be revealed; the review embargo lifts on Tuesday, while social media reactions arrive online tomorrow (to check that out, you'll want to follow me on Twitter here).
In Loki, the imperious God of Mischief, who, after absconding with the Tesseract, is a fish-out-of-water when he lands in a world of trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki, and Michael Waldron is head writer. Recently, we learned the show will premiere on Disney+ on June 9th, 2021.
