MOON KNIGHT Star Oscar Isaac Confirms The Hero Will Return...He's Just Not Saying When Or Where

While Oscar Isaac has previously said he only signed up for one season of Moon Knight, the actor has now confirmed that he will return as the hero...unfortunately, that was about all he was giving away!

Moon Knight debuted to positive reviews on Disney+ earlier this year. While the series was a little inconsistent at times, the vast majority of fans loved the MCU's take on Marc Spector/Steven Grant/Jake Lockley, and they've been hoping for news on season 2 for months now.

After all, the series ended on a major cliffhanger with Marc and Steven giving up being Moon Knight, only for us to learn that Jake had been working for Khonshu all along. Those two don't know about this third personality, and there's clearly something very violent and twisted about Lockley and his relationship with the Moon God.

Doing the rounds to promote Moon Knight when it was released, actor Oscar Isaac said repeatedly that he only signed up for the six-episode series, casting doubt on his MCU future. While we know Marvel Studios has moved away from massive multi-picture deals, it was disappointing to hear that might be it for the actor.

Talking at New York Comic Con this weekend, Isaac confirmed Moon Knight will eventually rise again in the MCU.

Declining to reveal whether we're getting a season 2, he told fans, "I don't think it's...all I can say is that it's not the last we've heard of the system that is Moon Knight."

There are a number of upcoming projects that the vigilante could be part of, but it does make the most sense for his story to continue in a solo movie or TV show. There have been rumblings online that Moony might show up in Captain America: New World Order, though nothing has been confirmed on that front and we're unsure how he could factor into proceedings.

All six episodes of Moon Knight are now streaming on Disney+.
