The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to get a little bit more badass with the introduction of Marc Spector in Moon Knight, and Marvel Studios couldn't have found a better lead than Oscar Isaac.
The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor has now taken to social media - via Mad Gene Media (the production company he founded with Elvira Lind) - to tease his MCU role with the caption, "WE ARE MOONKNIGHT." Considering fact that the vigilante has multiple personalities, that would make a pretty cool tagline for the Disney+ series.
We're not sure if this is just a random post from Isaac or a sign that something is about to be revealed (Marvel Entertainment has shared the photo on their social media accounts). Either way, this is a nice reminder that production is currently underway in Budapest, though set images have sadly been few and far between since shooting began.
Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy) has been set as head writer, while we know that The Witcher's Beau DeMayo is also working on the show.
Oh, and while much of what we see here is comic book artwork, that does appear to be actual concept art from the show up in the top left-hand corner. We're not sure what it is, though!
There's no word on a premiere date, but we're expecting to see this one on Disney+ next year.
