There have been rumblings for years about A-Force assembling in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but is the world ready for an all-female team of Avengers? We'd like to think so, though the negative response to that empowering team-up during Avengers: Endgame's final battle could suggest otherwise.

Despite that, it's no secret that Elizabeth Olsen and Evangeline Lilly were among those who approached Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige about an A-Force project. Now, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany has shared her hopes to be part of that team.

Talking in the clip below from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Maslany was asked if she would like to see her sensational superhero lead A-Force. "Yes. Yes. Yes," the actor responded. "Kevin? Where’s Kevin? Kevin? Hire me."

This is an expected answer, but it's also one that suggests Maslany has long-term plans as the MCU's She-Hulk. While the show's trailers have made it clear that Jennifer Walters is more interested in being a lawyer than a superhero, it seems inevitable that the character will eventually assemble alongside the rest of The Avengers.

She-Hulk is a great character, and with Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson also talking openly about their A-Force hopes, you have to believe we'll see that team sooner rather than later. For now, though, Earth's Mightiest Heroes don't look set to return until Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars are released as part of Phase 6.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the hero as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18. Check out Maslany's comments in full in the player below:

Man, it's kind of hard to imagine these next Avengers movies without Stark and Rogers. There doesn't seem to be any sort of natural leader for the team at the moment, not that there necessarilly needs to be one.

I just can't get behind this show... it looks terrible. I'm going to watch and try to enjoy (as always) but it's really a shame what they've done to the Hulk.

The original Hulk was a superhero take on Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde. The Hulk is supposed to be an uncontrollable beast who grows bigger, stronger and more powerful as he gets angrier.

Now, Marvel has completely deviated from the original Hulk storyline and uses him as a comedic prop. What they've done here with She-Hulk is just an amplification of that exact same problem, except maybe worse.

I don't know how they can turn this around but it truly is a shame what they've done to one of Marvel's most beloved hero's

@CaptainDC - Haven't been happy what they've been doing with the Hulk, or lack thereof, lately. I am excited for She-Hulk herself though.

@CaptainDC - in fairness to she hulk, she is supposed to be basically that kind of character. I agree with hulk though.

@CaptainDC - this is shit. Not the writing, but that's probably terrible too. Visually it just looks awful. Comedy is a defense mechanism to distract from a terrible story.

You think you’re going to lead the AForce? Carol Danvers might not agree.

It just seems like she's not even familiar with the A-force.
