SHE-HULK Faces Off With Titania (In Court) In First Clip From Tomorrow's Episode

Disney+ has released a clip from tomorrow's new episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and it spotlights Jennifer Walters' big face-off with Titania... in court! Check it out...

The first clip from tomorrow's fifth episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now online, and it focuses on the big face-off between Jennifer Walters and Titania. Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait a while to see these two throw hands again, because this rematch will play out in court.

Jameela Jamil's villain only appeared very briefly in the first episode when the Emerald Amazon took her down with ease after she burst through the courtroom wall, but we found out at the conclusion of last Thursday's installment that Titania is suing Jen for the rights to the She-Hulk moniker!

Walters enlists rival attorney Mallory Book (Renée Elise Goldsberry) to fight her case, but Titania has already copyrighted the name She-Hulk for some beauty products - which she's brought to court as "evidence."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Jessica Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.

What did you guys think of the first four episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? Drop us a comment down below.

@Will44482 - you’re* a misogynist. If you’re gonna be a victim of political correctness at least be a literate one.

Yeah I’m one of those [frick]ers. But c’mon why is the word ‘you’re’ so [frick]ing difficult for the internet. If they teach it to grade 3 kids I’m sure you can handle it.

Foot exfoliants? Who the hell needs foot exfoliants? (Looks down at his own feet). I withdraw the question, Your Honor (also, anyone know where I can score some of that shit? Even if it's the Black Market, I don't care. Seriously I'm working with dragon toes here! Even Gollum would look at my feet and be like "Misery, misery!").

@StSteven - I started going with my wife to get pedicures every few months or so. It’ll really make sure you don’t have nasty feet. I don’t have experience with foot exfoliants, but I can recommend an occasional pedicure to get rid of the nasties.

@mountainman - Oh, hey, haha I was kinda kidding there because I had never heard of "foot exfoliant" but thanks for the feedback. Honestly, being as I live in TX and WFH I usually wear flip-flops 99% of the time so I've pretty much given up on ever having nice looking feet. At this point I'm just happy with fully functioning feet which, given how accident prone I am, is a lofty goal in and of itself. Fun fact: do you know how much the most expensive smoothy (likely in the US, possibly globally) costs? $200. How do I know? Well because a couple of years ago I was making a smoothy for my wife using a Cuisinart food processor (in retrospect NOT the correct device for the job), and when I poured the smoothy out the "sharp-as-the-devil-himself" blade slid out with it and naturally went straight for one of my toes and slit it open length-wise. Now, being as I'm a stupid guy and it was Saturday night I literally wrapped it up with paper towels and duct tape, but my wife insisted that we go to the ER, where they stitched it up for the low low price of... $200. On the plus side, the on-duty doctor (who was in NO mood for my sense of humor at 2am) gave me a pair of those little surgical shears to take with me when he told me that I'd have to came back in a couple of weeks to have the stitches removed and I said "Can I just do it myself? I'm a doctor." So there's that I guess.

So, yeah, I'm just happy that all 11 toes are still functioning correctly. Anything beyond that is gravy 😉.

@StSteven - Wow good you didn’t lose a toe. Yeah I’ve never heard of foot exfoliants either. Fits in with this silly show.
StSteven
StSteven - 9/14/2022, 7:08 PM
@mountainman - Yeah, well I accidentally cut off my thumb with a table saw when I was I high school (it was surgically reattached) and then a couple of months later stuck the same hand into a deep fryer at the fast food restaurant that I was working at (don't worry it's fine now - long story), so I wouldn't have be surprised if the toe had been cut off. Just my luck :/

FWIW I did a quick Google search just now (https://www.amazon.com/foot-exfoliator/s?k=foot+exfoliator) and apparently foot exfoliates are a real thing, although it seems like "foot files" are more of a thing, and I could totally get onboard with that because like I said earlier, spending so much time outside in flip-flops my feet are approaching Hobbit-levels of "foot leather".

Regarding the show, I think that sure it's silly, but that's what was promised. Marvel never said that this was going to be on the same level of seriousness at FatWS, and given its lighthearted nature, my wife and 2 little girls (3 and 6) actually probably enjoy watching this more than most of the other stuff I make them watch, so that's a win for us. And personally I don't mind a series where I can enjoy a chuckle and don't find myself thinking too much about the "deeper themes" involved or how the show is going to impact the MCU or life as I know it in general. And I'm sure that Marvel is listening loud and clear to what we are all saying about "She-Hulk" (like they do with everything else), and chances are when we see Jen suit up outside of her current series, it'll probably in a much more serious situation, such as A:KD and/or/ A:SW, so I'm not too worried about the tone of the current show setting a precedent of how she' going to be handled in the future. Same with DD. Just because they're going to give him a lighter tone in the episode that he's in in "SH" doesn't mean that his own show is going to be the same way. So I'm just cool with sitting back and seeing what they come out with. I mean, that whole "Werewolf by Night" thing just shows that you can't really predict where Marvel is going to go. Maybe you'll like it, maybe not. But it's definitely going to be interesting one way or the other.

@StSteven - Oh i get it. I stopped watching because it isn’t for me and i try to keep the negative comments to a minimum now since fans of the show get really offended. Very much looking forward to Warewolf by Night.
StSteven
StSteven - 9/14/2022, 9:15 PM
@mountainman - And, hey, I get it. Marvel is REALLY trying to basically offer something for everyone, which is a HUGE task. I mean, imagine that you were in Feige's shoes making decisions about what they spend millions of dollars on, what format/style/etc. it will take, and on and on. So I think that they understand that those folks who want to see "door decapitations" are possibly different than those that want to see Jen's dating life. Got it. I'm one of those people who is open to all of it, but I try to be smart about what I let my kinds watch as well. Anyhow, to each their own. I just think it's great that Marvel it giving us the opportunity where we can actually make those decisions.

mountainman - 9/14/2022, 10:20 PM
@StSteven - It is what it is. I think the viewership of some of this newer stuff like this show being lower than their more traditional superhero fare indicates the overall appeal, but you’re right - they are diversifying. If they want to make niche content that appeals to smaller groups of people that’s on them. I’ll watch and say positive things about what I like. I will also not watch and make fun of stuff I don’t. They’ll do what they do. Maybe this strategy will pay off for them and maybe it won’t. Only time will truly tell.
StSteven
StSteven - 9/20/2022, 9:00 PM
@mountainman - Yep, and a very reasonable approach. I'll probably watch all of the Marvel and SW stuff as it comes out just because it's my favorite fiction stuff to watch right now. As it is I have the "grown-up deluxe package" (i.e. job, wife, kids, house, yard/pool, etc.) so my TV viewing time is pretty limited so I have to be pretty selective as to what I watch (like I still haven't gotten past season 4 of "Better Call Saul"). But I've been pretty happy with the D+ shows so far, some more than others like everyone else, but enough that I'm willing to give them all a shot at this point. And, sure, if there's something to criticize and/or make fun of I will if I see a need for it, but usually any criticisms I might have most other people have as well and have already voiced so there's no need for me to be an echo chamber.

Overall, I think that what Marvel is trying to accomplish (and I mentioned this in another post so if you already read this analogy forgive me) is to establish and build up the cinematic equivalent of a comic book store. When I was collecting comics as a kid, if my comic store only carried a handful of Avengers comics, well, if I wanted to read superhero comics then I guess I'd buy the Avengers titles. BUT, if they started stocking more titles (i.e. X-Books, Spidey, Ghost Rider, Punisher, etc. (those were the ones that I collected mainly as a kid)), then I can pick and choose my favorites. Because for as much as I love comics, I simply didn't have the time or money to buy and read them all. Plus I had school, chores, sports to play, etc. So I picked the ones that I thought were the best and read those, And, sure, if there was a cross-over event with the Avengers, or the cosmic stuff, or the supernatural stuff, I'd probably pick those up too so that I could keep up.

So that's where I see the MCU heading between their movies and D+. Overall I see it as a win-win as we get more variety and they increase their viewership, just like a comic shop selling a wider variety of titles. Just as long as the quality of those titles doesn't start to slip for the sake of having more to offer (we've all walked past some titles in shops and been like "Who the hell buys this shit?"). But so far I'm optimistic based on what we've been getting. But, as you say, only time will tell.

@ShimmyShimmyYA - totally agree. We've reached a point where the superhero genre just branches out because otherwise it's all the same, but some just can't handle that I guess. Not everything is made for everyone anymore

@ShimmyShimmyYA - announced change will always be met with resistance, especially by those with a predetermined stance.

It's okay to have fair criticism, but I haven't really seen much of that so far. Or maybe I don't notice the fair criticism, since that isn't actually bitching.

MyCoolYoung - 9/14/2022, 6:42 PM
@ShimmyShimmyYA - not to mention, there is a big misogynistic aspect to some of the hate for the show. Rather than face that, they mock it and say stuff like "see women don't like it either," showing one youtube video.

@ShimmyShimmyYA - each character that they use will eventually get pulled into a larger universe and when fans watch those movies they will inevitably have to sit through scenes with those "poorly executed" characters they don't like. So there's obvious frustration there. It's different if you don't like the MCU, you don't watch the MCU. If you don't like Batman you don't watch Batman but if you don't like Batman, it's hard to sit through justice league. I personally did not enjoy Moon Knight but I think it was more of the story and not the character therefore I don't think it will bother me to watch him as part of a team but I don't like what has become of the hulk and every scene with the hulk bothers me

@RolandD - Just because it's a comedy doesn't mean the character needs to come off like a parody of the comic figure she's based off of. You can do comedy without being overly goofy...
