THE PUNISHER Takes Aim In Two New Photos From The Upcoming Marvel Series

Following that pre-Punisher photo from earlier this week, two more images from The Punisher have surfaced online, giving us a new look at Mirco and a behind-the-scenes shot of Frank Castle taking aim.

One batch, two batch, penny and dime.

The Punisher is coming at an undisclosed date this fall and while we await news on a premiere date, two new stills from the upcoming Jon Bernthal-led series have made their way online. The first offers a fresh look at Frank Castle as he takes a minute to catch up with his old friend Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and reminisce about the good old days. Meanwhile, the second photo gives us a behind-the-scenes shot of Castle taking aim at an unseen enemy.

While speaking with Empire, Bernthal teased Castle's rage and his penchant for taking no prisoners, "It's the only thing that silences the demons, temporarily. There's going to be an attempt to move beyond the Punisher, but that's something he can't shake. There's part of me that's hungry to get back into the darkness, that's excited to see it fall apart. And I'll go back to my long walks."

Check out the two new photos, courtesy of Twitter user Tin_Pan_Ali, below:

Frank Castle is haunted and hunted after the murder of his family and becomes a vigilante known in the criminal underworld as "the Punisher", who aims to fight crime by any means necessary.

The Punisher features:
Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher

Ben Barnes as Billy Russo/Jigsaw
Ebon Moss-Bachrach as David Lieberman/Micro
Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani
Michael Nathanson as Sam Stein
Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott
Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle
Paul Schulze as Rawlins
Jaime Ray Newman as Sarah Lieberman
Shohreh Aghdashloo as Farah Madani

My only criticism of this version of the character is i wish they left the crew cut behind and went with the slicked back look for his hair

@Ha1frican - Don't write it off just yet, I bet we get that hairstyle at the end of S01 or sometime in S02.

Loving Defenders at the moment, about halfway through, makes me even more excited for Punisher.
Finished Iron Fist which was a hard watch, like just about got through it, thanks to the presence of Jessica Henwick.
Have to say that Iron Fist's fighting looks a lot better to me in Defenders, but still find the character annoying.

Bernthal is going to blow away people with his performance.

I hope this is good. I hate to say it, but i too have been losing faith in the Netflix stuff. I'm hoping that Punisher can give it a shot in the arm. Drew Goddard getting the X-Force gig had me super bummed, because it means he probably isn't so involved in DD season 3. I was praying that S3 was gonna be his baby from top to bottom.
