WandaVision is fast approaching, and it's easy to feel the excitement building for the Marvel Studios TV series. After all, the last time we got to pay a visit to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was way back in July 2019 when Spider-Man: Far From Home was released in theaters.
Now, ahead of the Marvel show's January 15th debut on Disney+, an interesting name has joined the cast.
As you can see below, prolific voice actress Grey DeLisle-Griffin, who is perhaps best known for voicing Daphne in the Scooby-Doo franchise, will be part of the series. It's going to be a voice role, and that just makes us all the more intrigued. Could she be playing a CGI character of some sort? There's been speculation that everyone from Mephisto to Nightmare could show up, so perhaps we're getting a fresh take on one of them. Alternatively, the actress could be voicing one of their minions.
Then again, it could be as simple as some additional voice work, or even some animated segments related to those sitcom settings. Whatever the case may be, this should be worth keeping an eye on.
In WandaVision, Wanda Maximoff and Vision are two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives, but begin to suspect everything is not as it seems. Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings and Randall Park, WandaVision is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Shaeffer (Black Widow) is head writer.
