Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed that new episodes of Ahsoka will no longer be released on Wednesday nights/mornings at 12am PT/3am ET. Instead, the first two episodes will begin streaming on Tuesday, August 22 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, with the following six instalments also set to drop at that same time every Tuesday.
As of now, we don't know whether this is the plan solely for Ahsoka or all future Disney+ exclusives. This is a long overdue move by the streamer as expecting fans to watch these new shows in the dead of night rather than during primetime is an awfully big ask (it also means some fans struggle to avoid spoilers, especially if they can't watch until Wednesday evening).

Include A Post-Credits Scene? - No Spoilers
Disney clearly has a lot of faith in Ahsoka being a huge draw for the platform, and while streamers don't disclose viewership figures, this decision will likely be a major benefit to weekly ratings.
We'll have our review and some spoiler-filled breakdowns to share with you in time for next week's season premiere. In the meantime, you can watch some highlights from last night's fan event in the player below.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
Ahsoka will launch exclusively on Disney+ on August 23 22 with a two-episode premiere.
