There are a lot of rumours surrounding Venom but we actually know very little about Sony's Spider-Man spinoff (which may, in fact, include the wall-crawler if a new report is to be believed). However, the one thing fans really want to know is whether or not Carnage will be making an appearance in the Ruben Fleischer helmed release and speculation about his role shows no sign of slowing down.
Well, a now deleted Instagram post from Tom Hardy is adding even more fuel to the fire because it features Carnage front and centre, so the question now is, who could be playing Cletus Kasady?
It's been said that Riz Ahmed is playing Dr. Carlton Drake, the head of the Life Foundation but what if he ends up bonding with the Carnage symbiote and we don't get to meet Cletus until a possible sequel? That sort of change to the source material is pretty much what fans have come to expect from producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach so don't be surprised if that ends up being the case in Venom!
