Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now, and there's a huge amount of excitement surrounding the latest entry in the award-winning Black Ops series (particularly as the game can be played on the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S). Recently, it was revealed that the open Multiplayer Beta for the game was the most downloaded Beta in Call of Duty franchise history.

The release of the game comes at an exciting time for Beenox as they celebrate their 20th anniversary in the video game industry. They recently marked the occasion by sending employees a mystery box filled with collectors' items bearing the 20th anniversary logo, and led development of the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, working closely with lead studios Treyarch and Raven Software, as well as additional studios including High Moon Studios.

"What Beenox brings to the table is passion, fun, attention to detail, comradeship and a peerless ability to work with other studios. All with the sole aim of helping to build the best franchises in the history of video games. It’s a real pleasure to be part of such a tight-knit team that constantly achieves its goals," said Nour Polloni, the newly appointed Co-Studio Head at Beenox.

Beenox works to create a company culture in line with core values, which are excellence, team spirit, and balance. The 20th anniversary marks 20 years of achievements, unforgettable moments, and most of all, a bright future for the studio. That's evident from the launch of the new Black Ops game.

"We have worked closely with Treyarch and Raven Software to develop a great Black Ops Cold War PC version, bringing over 200 individual settings to the game," said Marc-Alexandre Milot, UI/UX Director at Beenox. Thomas Wilson, Co-Studio Head at Beenox, adds: "We are an incredibly dedicated and passionate team, and strive for excellence on the PC. We've worked tirelessly to optimize the player’s experience on the PC platform. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is the result of the team’s hard work, and we can't wait for gamers to enjoy the fruits of our team's labor."

The game features a thrilling campaign narrative, the next generation of Multiplayer combat and the highly-anticipated return of the Zombies Mode. Black Ops Cold War drops fans into the depths of the Cold War’s volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s. Nothing is ever as it seems in a gripping single-player story where players will come face-to-face with historical figures and hard truths, as they battle around the globe through iconic locales of the time period like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters and more.

Powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on PC features a lifelike experience thanks to RTX Shadows and Ambient Occlusion, which provides photo-realistic shadows that further immerses you within the game’s world. The PC version will also include both NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and Reflex Technology.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now worldwide on PlayStation 5 (Australia, Japan, New Zealand, North America, Singapore, South Korea; rest of world availability Nov. 19th), PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and on PC, in a fully optimized experience for Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment’s online gaming service.

I haven't played a Call Of Duty game since Modern Warfare 2.

I heard they went downhill a bit so I haven't bothered.

I can imagine all of us could return to this thread in ten years and laugh about how 90GB was soooo much. Penny, penny.
