I would really like it if a poster was the one from the cover of the Japan Saga. We had a Man of Steel poster like the Alex Ross design. The Iron Man poster of him falling was from a comic cover.

I'm not sure Wolvie still holds an attraction to as large of an audience as before. Not sure Jackman can draw a crowd to a film either. Its going to take more than posing like a male model Ed scissorhands.

@marantaz, Hugh's performance as Wolverine in this one is the most character accurate interpretation to date, you needn't worry. Huge chip on his shoulder more so and still manages to be extremely likable and kicks tons more ass. if this movie has any worries, it won't be Hugh Jackman.

^ I seriously doubt the validity of this statement.

is it me or his face is copied and pasted on the body?

For some reason, it looks a bit fake (the proportions...)

@BenderDickCumPatch, it's just really bad photoshop. I don't know how some of these people get work.

Can't help but think of this as a 90s TV show made before the general public truly embraced CBMs and expected superheroes to wear costumes.

And @TypicalParkerLuck

As much as Jackman might be an around good guy and actor, his interpretation bears little resemblance to the comic character. Screen Wolvie is rarely feral, usually far too restrained and full of doubt. And he's about a foot too tall. And that's just for starters.

@FOOM Comic wolverine doesn't take pride in his feral rage and feels guilty for giving into it. He is constantly trying to avoid giving in to the "animal".

That should be the name of the movie.

Immortal Wolverine. Much cooler than The Wolverine.

Ok, someone seriously has to design a fan fiction poster for a New Fantastic Four (Wolverine, Hulk, Ghost Rider, and Spidey) movie now!

Too skinny. Makes him look even taller. I do love Hugh as Wolverine, but they need to be making him look stockier not leaner. More bulky, less ripped, don't stand too tall, etc.

Just my $.02. I still think this is going to be a great film, though.

I really hope this is decent. Looking at the video picture just threatens hope. That same look on his face. Confused, soul-searching Wolverine. Always the last to know some shit about himself.

its either just a bad photoshop job and the head is too big, or its a bad camera angle, taken from up higher so the head looks bigger. we all know he looks much bigger in the movie. That shot of him walking down the steps where he looks huge is because the camera is slightly lower, looking up, so his chest appears bigger and his head smaller.

I like how the claws in his right hand aren't even coming out of his knuckles, or even the right way for that matter

Its like they have designed the entire promotion of The Wolverine around Hugh Jackman's six pack. Yeah it is great but some creativity with the posters please?

The meeting for this poster was exactly like the brainstorming session in Elf (where they decide to hire Miles Lannister). And then they all went for lap dances and In-and-Out.
