From the trailer Svetlana seemed pretty cool as Viper. But I wish they'd have made Silver Samurai the main villain.

I'm def looking forward to seeing this movie this weekend, but can we stop saying "this is the Wolverine movie we've all been waiting for," until we get a hard 'R' rated slash-fest? Which hopefully is the blu-ray version of this movie...we shall see. On a different note, has anyone seen the movie that would care to comment on how well/poorly they pulled off the Silver Samurai?

Viper was the worst part of the film but she wasn't bad at all...I wanted more Silver Samurai. That final battle was nice and I could almost feel Wolverine's pain when he took certain shots from Silver.
The Bullet Train scene- very very nice. One of the best action sequences I've seen on film. I will be seeing this movie at least 2 more times in theater.

Silver Samurai - for me was done well but I wished he was in it more. That seemed to be the general feeling from the audience I was with.

I feel like Silver Samurai is gonna be my biggest issue when i see this on sunday. I think he just battles at the end when hes done being made in that lab. I wonder if theres even a person inside that suit?

But the combonation of Silver Samurai and Viper should be solid. They def peaked my interest, especially with that end credit scene dude said blew his mind.

by the sound of things i'm gonna enjoy the wolverine the most out of the comic book movies we've had so far this year.

SPOILER about the villains:
-Shingen wants to kill his daughter with the Yakuza.
-Yashida wants Wolverine. Viper works for him and Harada needs to stop Wolverine for the Viper

Like many others in 2013, I have a big issue with this movie's third act...which is quite unfortunate, since I believe it would've been my personal best of the year, had it gone down a different route! Still, though, it's a great movie, and the action scenes are possibly the ones I enjoy the most, out of the other CBM's, so far. And yes, Viper is pretty damn weak a character!

Cherry: Nothing significant, I suppose; it's just (Spoiler) her removing a layer of her skin after being thrown down a catwalk - which oddly reveals the scales on the surface - thus reverting back to her "normal" appearance...minus the hair, that is!

@cherry: Mariko keeps being with Logan until the end of the movie. They will fall in love as you probably know. She is in the movie for a big part and does something significant at the end of the boss battle with Silver Samurai.

just saw this movie! loved it! finally! a great wolverine movie.. and top it off, one of the best end credit scene i ever saw.
