The Calgary Herald spoke to Quebec film commissioner Hans Fraikin about his recent meetings with Fox about X-Men: Days of Future Past planned return to the city to shoot some additional scenes, and in their report are a couple of very interesting tidbits. According to the site - and it seems unlikely that they would pluck this particular piece of information out of thin air - the movie, "is the second-most expensive movie ever produced by Hollywood studio 20th Century Fox, behind only Avatar." Whether that's a result of the star-studded cast or the CGI Sentinels is unknown, but that low-key teaser trailer clearly hid the majority of action! The site goes on to say that, "Fraikin also confirmed he is in talks with Fox to attempt to persuade the Hollywood studio to shoot the sequel to Independence Day in Montreal. If Fox decides to do it here, they would likely shoot in 2015." What do you guys think of this news?
