DoubleD Unlike Godzilla being called GODZILLA, X-men wasn't subtitled Sentinels. They played their part. Future & past ones.

I didnt watch the video so I dont know if this was already mentioned but am I the only one that noticed the color of their clothes in the end? Like Rogue wearing that new green jacket, Storm wearing the first white outfit we've seen her in the whole series, and so on.

who gives a shit about the future scenes with the xmen dying when it will just get fixed in the past? its pointless.

for me this is the best X-Men movie i have seen so far but there were a few parts i did not understand or were just stupid.

firstly the magneto train part was just ridiculous. the way he gets the train rails to bind with the sentinels that easily was a joke. also for the final battle how does he have control over the sentinels i.e. telling them to attack the humans.

and finally at the end with mystique disguised as stryker. what did that mean?. is she simply saving wolverine or does she have some part in the weapons x program?

True.. but Edge of Tommorrow's going to own both of them.

Missed the Samurai Swords behind wolverine reference to THE WOLVERINE, Fist of the north star reference "7 dots on his chest to signify a lone warrior in an apocalyptic world", also is it only me or did every1 miss the "NATE GREY or X-Man reference in the beginning of the film where a male kid with a white strip of hair in a hoody finds the x-symbol on the floor?" Also it is shown a kid with the same hairystyle with a white strip of hair walking inside the xavier school when wolverine returns to a new future". Also this may be unconfirmed but is the white kid with blond/white haired kid with a "M" on his eye a cable reference...even though cable has a x scar on his eye but it could be?

It gets better with each new time I see it.

Dinklage, Jackman, McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, Hoult, McKellen and Stewart are amazing!

The others (Berry, Paquin, Page, etc) had not much screen time but they were great with what was given to them.

Blink powers are amazing, sunspot, iceman, bishop.

Man! Quicksilver stole the spotlight from great actors when he appeared!

The "You contorl metal? My mother knew a guy who can do that" was hilarious and great.

I just loved DOFP.

I am so glad that I will never see the x-men handled by any other studio than Fox.
Easily the best movie of the year so far

Just came here to say I take my hat off for this movie, What an amazing film. This Xmen team ranks up there with Avengers in both badassery and fun.
As someone who has bashed Bryan Singer every movie, I have to say this time he completely got it right and created the best Xmen film and revived my interest in the franchise.
Best CBM of the year so far, can't wait for GOTG.

GO watch this film people!

But Beast and wolverine didn't take down a sentinel...... Remember

Talking about a naked Wolverine. It was NOT a nod to Terminator. It was Logan's mind that was sent to the past not his body. It just so happened to be sent to a point when he was in bed with some one.

Over all it was a OK movie. Wish they explained how Kitty was able to send some one mind to the last like that. I will say that so far the best CBM this year is still Captain America The Winter Soldier.

How was mystique able to get a bullet near magneto, let alone hit him in the neck with it? He stopped a hundred missiles in the first one and had just brought a baseball stadium to show-and-tell at the whitehouse, yet a bullet takes him down.

That notwithstanding, my favorite Xmen film
JoJo1982

I don't think that was Nate Grey in the beginning, seeing as cyclops is not even alive in first place
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 5/26/2014, 8:09 AM
They took Trevor Fitzroy as future mutant in the comics

And gave his mutant powers to Kitty in the movie

Didn't they confirm via viral marketing or someone's comments that it was Mystique that killed JFK, or am I just imagining that?

JoJo1982

@fenlion

U gotta think at the time Magneto

Was using his powers to control the sentinels, also aiming the guns on the men, and taking down a sentinel trying to attack him

Of course he couldn't stop mystique or wasn't even expecting to get shot

JayTopStix - 5/26/2014, 8:15 AM
@DoubleD. Xmen 7 and Cap 2 10? LOL. Cap was OK, this was AMAZING. I can't believe people are still pushing that nonsense. This movie was way better in every single toss and turn.

@JoJo1982

I think it is NATE GREY reference b/c the kid has the same hair/look as the character in the comic book but due to many continuity errors, no cameos/easter eggs will fit with the storyline anyways. For example, Night Crawler is suppose to be the son of Azazel and Mystique but that does not work in the film b/c azazel is dead before X-2 film. Also it is stated that mystique is captured/killed and then her DNA is used on the sentinels but if that does happen that means she shouldn't have been able to appear in X1 - X3 films if she was harvested for the sentinels in the future.

SuperCat - 5/26/2014, 8:18 AM

Agreed! I hope Whedon can do something just as cool with the character.

@DoubleD:

I saw it first on my own on May 16th in a special screeening preview. Since i loved it so much I saw it again with my girlfriend last thrusday in midnight screening, then friday again with my cousins, then saturday morning with my little niece who was amazed and now whant to know everything x-men related and finally I saw it yesterday again with my friends. I am planning to see it again with my sisters this week, I just have to match it to their shcedules.

That makes it five times that i have seen it. And I am going to make it a sixth.

If some of my friends wants me to go again with them so I can explain them the thing since they know I am a comic books fan I think I will!

That is how good this movie was to me, the other only two movies I have seen several times at the cinema were Avengers, The dark knight and Hellboy 2

I think Nightcrawler was born between first class and DOFP since mystique joined to team at that time with azazel

One of the reasons why mystique wanted Trask dead
