Michael Fassbender Confirms Quicksilver's Parentage?

During the X-Men: Days Of Future Past Premiere this past weekend, Joblo Caught up with the cast of the film and Michael Fassbender dropped quite the bombshell about Quicksilver in his segment.

Joblo was able to catch up with some of the cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past  during the world Premiere and while it was mostly filled with the same old actors hyping up their movie (rightfully so if reviews are anything to go by), Michael Fassbender (Young Magneto) seemingly confirmed that quicksilver is indeed his son.

When asked what his favorite part of the film was, he responded saying,

"I like the introduction of my son, Quicksilver, I'm very proud of his scene. That's my favorite scene. Kitchen scene, let's call it"

You can check out the video below or click the YouTube link provided below and fast forward to the 3:13 mark for Fassbender's part.

Most Fans feared that their relationship will not be addressed in the film but this seems to hint that it will at least strongly hint at it. So what do you think? Leave your comments in the usual place!

Hmmm intriguing, looks like Fox is using the biggest advantage they have over MCU's Quicksilver.

Whats the age difference between these two?

Also, I heard that the rest of the cast of First Class was killed off. Anyone know how?

He already confirmed it at Comic Con last year. When Peters said Quicksilver was "really fast and a bit of a spaz", Fassbender threw in "and he's got great genes".

@Comedian03 The rights situation dictates that Fox can make reference to Quicksilver being Magneto's son, but Marvel can't.

@WYLEEJAY Ten years, which is the same for Sean Connery and Harrison Ford but they still played a father and son in Indiana Jones.

Magneto's cape design is a cool reinvention, though I not sure why the arrows are on it. His helmet is tight work. The material covering his arms looks a lot like the Spidey and MoS suit material but with a smaller pattern print. I like that better. Other than that, that chest plate looks like a motocross vest and it doesn't jive with the rest of the costume. Perhaps some complementary armor on the arms and legs would have brought it together, but as it is, it just looks so disjointed and thrown together. Maybe this has a reason? Either way, FOX won't be winning any costume awards this year either.

I'm cool with it. If it's true and confirmed that is.
Although i'm more hyped to see Quicksilver in AOU than in DOFP.

Comics wise it makes sense that Magneto wouldn't know Quicksilver is his son at 1st. That was revealed to him later as he was unaware his wife was pregnant when they parted. But it would make sense that the relationship is alludes for the audience to foreshadow future events.

That was kind of confrirmed at Comic Con. Michael said something about Quicksilver having 'good genes'. I didn't really like X-Men QS at first but I heard that he is cool in the movie so I'll wait to judge on my own.

They're actors playing parts their age doesn't matter. Erik was in the concentration camp when he was at least 12, 30 years passing puts him about 40 and Evan peters could easily play a teenager

Fox is able to show the father/son relationship, ironically it's Marvel that can't show that connection in their movies.

@csdot Yes but the twins didn't know it from the beginning. They grew up with gypsies (hence the surname 'Maximoff') and then they thought for a while that Whizzer and Miss America were their parents (they changed their surname to Frank back then). The fact that Magneto is their father was revealed some years later.

One said before that a "look" was given between the two in the movie (I think Evans said that in relation to Marvel not being able to connect him to Magneto).

Both of them keep saying "father and son" simply because of how it is in the comics. Y'all won't be seeing him in another X-Men movie no time soon. He was simply put in to respond to Marvel using Quicksilver. Remember that Stryker was originally suppose to play Juggernaut in that rescue scene and they took it away from him to put in Quicksilver.

Watch this double character happen again when Marvel decides to put Namor in a movie. Fox can use him too ever since Marvel claimed him to being a mutant.

Lol. Calm down guys. I meant the characters themselves. Nothing I said was negative. I was asking if anyone knew the CHARACTERS age difference in the story. Kinda like how my next question right after that asked another question about the characters from first class. But you guys didn't want to jump at that one huh?

Anyone else know what happened to the characters from First Class?
