New X-Men: First Class (Low-Res) TV Spot Sees Magneto Tear A Submarine In Half!

Thanks Wolvie! :) When I saw it on TV, I figured it would be one we've already seen...then I spotted Emma Frost in her diamond form (exactly like the comic books it seems) and Magneto tearing a freaking sub in two! Bring on May 30th! [frick]ing epic!!!

Thanks, can't wait to see it in HD probably tomorrow. I'm sure someone in the UK will record and post it.

@Josh: Haha, hell yeah! I'm telling you Vaughn is working on this like crazy, and it should be awesome. Everything we have seen looks just great. And that scene with Magneto = amazing!

@Comedian: Agreed. If it's a success, it could very well help them launch a new trilogy or something with more characters and stories.

@Comedian: Yeah it looks like he will definitely have some powers just like in the comics, but there is something else that could be very interesting in terms of a story. Either way, Bacon is playing him, bring it! lol

the cgi on emma frost looks much much improved

I always had faith in Matthew Vaughn right from the start, this is the same director of the awesome Kick-Ass how could you doubt him...Can't wait to see this, don't care too much about the continuity...I just want a solid X-Men film, never liked Singers version.

I still have little faith in this movie

Haters are failing so hard. They're going down in flames. I'm having so much fun watching the trailers, clips etc. and the haters try their best to be clever and witty.

I'm sick and tired of people slating this film! I think the Fake CBM Lovers are the ones who are bashing this movie and loved Bryan Singers take on X-Men. If you want to put the blame on someone about the continuity then look no further then Bryan Singer - He's producing this film, so it doesn't "Clash" with his X-Men films.

IMO Singers take on X-Men was awful. The films should have been called Wolverine! He made Cyclops my favourite X-Men - the leader into a crying wuss, he copped out on us on Gambit. The original costumes we loved were ditched for a biker look you'd find in a gay bar, the scripts were lackluster, and if you watch them now they have't aged well at all!

Just thank god you've got Matthew Vaughn helming this with his script writing buddy Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake) He's brought the Yellow and Navy Blue costumes back and seems to have more creative control. Yes the continuity is all over the place (SINGERS FAULT!) But he's giving us the best out of a bad situation.

Mark my words X-Men: First Class will be FARRRRR Better then Singers poor attempt at X-Men....And it's going to kick all sorts off Ass!

The best adaptation of X-Men so far has been the Cartoon series in the 90s! So if you got a problem with the films go watch them. I for one am looking forward to First Class.
