On Sunday, Michael Emerson (image on right) and a few of his friends went to Silverado Movie Theater in Tomball, Texas to view a late show of the new film, 300: Rise of an Empire. Went the film concluded early Monday morning, Emerson's and his group of friends entered the theater's bathroom. There, they discussed the possibility of the film having a sequel. At that point, another group that was in the bathroom as well got into the discussion and the conversation evolved into a heated argument.
The confrontation moved outside, where Emerson verbally confronted the men as they got into their truck. The driver pumped the truck backwards in reverse, plowing into Emerson, who fell to the ground and later died at a hospital as the suspects took off, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Police have not yet identified the men responsible for Emerson's death, but they did release images of them, which you can view below. If you can provide any additional information on them please call the HCSO at 713-967-5810.

After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.

300: Rise of an Empire - directed by Noam Murro, from a screenplay written by Kurt Johnstad and Zack Snyder. The film stars: Sullivan Stapleton as Themistocles, Eva Green as Artemisia, Lena Headey as Queen Gorgo of Sparta, Rodrigo Santoro as King Xerxes, Hans Matheson as Aeskylos, Andrew Pleavin as Daxos, Callan Mulvey as Scyllias, David Wenham as Dilios, Jack O'Connell as Calisto, Andrew Tiernan as Ephialtes and Yigal Naor as Darius. It will land in theaters March 7th, 2014.

It is reasons like this why I stopped going to the theater years ago. Between people talking, texting, babies crying, kids running everywhere, over priced food (yes I know that is how theaters make most of their revenue); I am just exhausted over the entire experience.

I remember going to the theater was a enjoyable family experience. In the last 20-25 years it has become an expensive headache that I can do without. I usually wait for a movie to be released on DVD, borrow from a friend and watch it on my 73" 7.1 surround sound home theater system. I can kickback with a nice German beer and watch in comfort.

That is my movie experience.

7.1 and you only have dvds not bluray ...

And I am sure you can afford to buy them not borrow

Come on if you can afford that home theater system you can surely do your part for your economy wherever you live

@TheMexicanSupermansMacaqueIsHairy,

I'm glad you are able to enjoy movies, I really am...I'm just saying that a lot of people today in the theater just have no consideration for other people. I'm not saying everyone, just enough to ruin a evening in my opinion. I lived in Chicago, Austin, Dallas/Ft Worth, San Diego and Tacoma for several years before and after I was in the Army and I seen all sorts of people acting up in theaters. That's why I just stay in.

I use DVDs as a blanket term, a Bluray a type of DVD (digital video disk). When I borrow, that is my initial viewing, if I like it then I buy the DVD (Bluray).
