Sony Pictures has shared a top secret new message to officially announce that the first teaser trailer for Elizabeth Banks' upcoming
Charlie's Angels sequel will be online tomorrow morning, and will be attached to screenings of Marvel's
Spider-Man: Far From Home when it opens next week.
Additionally, there will be a first look at the film released later today on
Entertainment Tonight.
While plot details have mostly been kept under wraps, the movie is believed to be a sequel - and not a reboot - that will serve as some sort of continuation of the original television series from the 1970s and the Cameron Diaz/Drew Barrymore/Lucy Liu films from the early 2000s.
The new film stars Kristen Stewart (
Twilight), Naomi Scott (
Power Rangers), and Ella Balinska (
A Modern Tale) as the three titular Angels, with a supporting cast comprised of Noah Centineo (
To All the Boys I've Loved Before), Sam Claflin (
Me Before You), Djimon Hounsou (
Guardians of the Galaxy), Elizabeth Banks (
Spider-Man 3), Patrick Stewart (
Logan), Luis Gerardo Mendez (
Murder Mystery), Jonathan Tucker (
Westworld), Chris Pang (
Crazy Rich Asians), and Nat Faxon (
Disenchantment).
