BATGIRL Suits-Up To Deal With Firefly Arson Attack In Explosive New Set Photos
We recently got a first look at Brendan Fraser as Firefly on the set of Batgirl, and these latest photos show Leslie Grace in full costume as she attempts to deal with the aftermath of his arson attack.
Following our first glimpse of Brendan Fraser (Doom Patrol, The Mummy) shooting a scene as Firefly on the set of Batgirl, this latest batch of photos show Barbara Gordon (Leslie Grace) suited-up for action as she deals with the aftermath of the villain's attack.
We're not sure which buildings Firefly targeted (there's speculation that one of them might have been the GCPD itself), but if these explosive shots are any indication, the deranged arsonist did quite a bit of damage.
The snaps also give us another look at Grace's Batgirl costume, which fans seem to have warmed up to a little over the past week or so.
WHAT A SHOT! Today by far has been the most EXPLOSIVE on the #Batgirl set 🔥

Batgirl will also star J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, and Jacob Scipio in an undisclosed role (recent set photos indicated that he might be Tony Bressi - though he does appear to be a friend of Batgirl's). It's also been confirmed that Michael Keaton's Batman will appear.
Loki composer Natalie Holt recently announced that she's signed on to work on the movie's score, while Christina Hodson, who wrote Bumblebee and also worked on Birds of Prey and The Flash, penned the most recent draft of the script.
The HBO Max movie is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. No release date has been announced.
