Looks like an intense story. I wish Marvel had more animation and tone like this in their cartoons. Ultimate Spider-man looks good but corny and EMH is too blocky for my taste.

I wanna see the justice league members so much more than the kids... is that normal? I'm more interested in the cameos than the actual members of the team!

@riddlemethis09 - I feel the same way! I'm an animator and I can tell you it's cauz Marvel has shitty Art Directors... they're the ones that decide what a show will look like! Wolverine & the X-men/Spectacular Spiderman weren't bad as far as looks. Marvel just needs to be more consistent and stick with what works! Planet Hulk/Hulk vs is an example at Marvel's true potential and what all their animated stuff need to look like.

Dick Grayson, Wally West and Zatanna haven't been children since the 1980's!! We're now in 2012 and DC decide to make them kids again instead of just using Impulse and Tim Drake..? Then they invent a "Miss Martian" (stupid name, like calling yourself "Miss Earth") and she HAS to be related to the only other surviving Martian in the universe?

God this stuff is so juvenile, DC and continuity is something a billion dollar computer couldn't sort out!

@Ceejay
Are you being idiotic??? This is a different universe (Earth-16), AND Miss Martian was created before the show was ever concieved. She debuted in 2006, in the "One Year Later" issues of Teen Titans. Her creators are even in the credits: Geoff Johns and Tony Daniel.

@JonathanisMagnum1985-I have to agree with you. That was the most intense preview for a cartoon that I have ever seen.

I was in awe when I saw that there was going to be back story to Dick's past. Seeing the show revisit Dick's past gives me goosebumps.

Now, all the people who said this show sucked are about to jump on the band wagon.

I really dont think they will do Lobo justice in this show. They've already disappointed me with The Joker and Lex Luthor, with some of the worst casting ever for those characters.
Hopefully they'll get the original actor from the DCAU, which i strongly doubt will happen -__-
Lobo
Lobo - 3/18/2012, 2:21 AM
I assume they will go more for the comedic side as they did in the other show with superman. Its not like they can do Lobo in this show. If they did, then the young crowd would not really be able to watch it. But He better be tuff as nails and really get under boy scouts cape.

@FlixMentallo21 - mind the name calling! Your statement simply underlines my point! DC had one good ever crossover story that had a purpose, it was called Crisis on Infinite Earths and it cleaned up their mess of multi-verse crap. All the other crossovers they made to get cash out of fanboys later simply brought all the crap back to another big mess of multiverse's and the likes of Geoff Johns is the reason why. How dumb do your superheroes have to be to accept even as an excuse, that two Martians, one being a young girl, will be on our planet to fight our crime problem let alone assume to be related ..duhhh! Too many stupid conceptions and too many unnecessary universes in DC period!

Ceejay - 3/18/2012, 3:34 AM
@Nutanyahoo - I watched yesterday's episode so that's no revelation to me but thanks. My point was that the very conception they used as an excuse to start with is ridiculous and highly contrived just to shoe horn a girl into the group. I used to buy that comic years ago when before they killed Impulse off. DC comics had a point when they were grooming a decent next generation after the original Teen Titans and all they've succeeded in doing since then is killing them all off and bringing back to life the same old fanboy favourites who should have retired years ago with the same time-story bollocks again, and again, and again.

This 'Cartoon' falls horribly outside of the previous and truly great DC cartoon continuity that began with the Batman Animated series, continued with the Superman series and grew considerably with the Justice League animated shows. All of a sudden, Dick Grayson is a kid again in the new millennium when all they had to do was continue with Tim Drake, its kinda pointless and stupid!

@ Just1Superguy - A Nightwing TV show may be just this world needs so we can finally get off Bruce Wayne's masculine utensil and stop being subjected to an over saturation of the same concepts/stories redundantly. Besides, I think it's safe to say that everyone prefers the grown up Mr. Grayson vs. a childish (aka corny) Boy Wonder...right???

Also, by you stated that "he is lame and just a Robin that went solo", you infer that Jason Todd is as well. Annntt!!! Wrong answer!!! Sidekicks don't have rouges??? Everyone has an opponent...that's life in general. The writers just need to amp up their mental efforts and exercise some character development and stop being lazy. We need more progression NOT regression and that's exactly what fans complain about these days: the lack of storyline progression.
