Offers Logan on Boba Fett, "He’s with the clones, but he’s not one of them. He’s special; that’s how he sees it. And now he’s alone. He had a relationship with Jango, like a father and son. None of the other clones had that connection; they’re just soldiers, and now they’re standing in his way. And that’s one of things that makes Boba so cool, as a kid and as a bounty hunter – nothing stands in his way.”

Is this show worth the watch?

i like it. some episodes are pretty violent, and people actually die in this, so it isn't TOTALLY for the kiddies.

i liked Genndy Tartakovsky's (the guy that did Samurai Jack) Clone Wars series better though. the 5 minute micro-episodes they used to do. when you watch them all together it makes a pretty cool story. go check out those DVD's if you want a good Clone Wars series.

Thanks CDB and Bman. Sounds like I'm headed to the nearest dvd store.

The animated versions were definitely cooler, but Clone Wars has SO surpassed my expectations for it. Ironically it has more character depth in some episodes than there was in the prequels.

yeah man! when i saw the Clone Wars movie that sets up the series, i was pretty disappointed. but i gave the series a shot, and it totally blows the movie away. i like how every episode focuses on different people. the episodes that follow the clone troopers are always fun :)

no problem man! there's 2 seasons of the animated one. they are 5 minute long episodes, but each season is about an hour and half worth of episodes. very cool :)

hmm. Is this really going to tie in to the whole series?

The series is pretty good. Some episodes are weaker than others, but it's an easy way to enjoy family time and geek time without much work. It surpasses Ep I-III easily for acting and character depth.

Gross@ CDB@ Bicho@ yeah i thought the animated version rocked hard. i never missed an episode of that! (CDB, i had no idea it was the same guy who did samurai jack - no wonder it was so badass)

so the computer animated new series is just as good if not better huh? im a huge star wars fan! but i just don't care about Anikin. Hayden Christiansen has forever tarnished my view of what he could've been.:(

the post-"jedi" series should be a lot of fun! that's a story worth telling for sure!

oh no, the CGI series is nowhere near as good as the animated one! the animated one was awesome!! i still like the CGI one, just not as much.

but yeah, that was the Samurai Jack guy. you probably never thought about it, but now that you know, its really easy to see, huh???

I'm digging the current series, although in agreement with previous posters: The cartoon was much better.

I can easily say, though, that the current series happens to explore the characters in greater depth, making them much more (no pun intended) three dimensional. This series seems to go into much greater detail in defining the causes for many of the quirks that the characters display. Methinks that it's a side-effect of having episodes that last longer than five minutes...but I could be wrong.

I'm still waiting to see the Asajj/Anakin fight that gave Skywalker his scar.

I'm excited to see Boba being introduced in the series, and I'm looking forward to seeing if there is more cause to his hatred for the Jedi beyond his father being beheaded by a Vapaad master.

That, and Boba *couldn't* have learned every little trick in his aresenal by the time that Jango died...I'm looking forward to see where he got his other pointers...
