The Blu Ray version for a Cartoon/animated movie or series looks Exactly the same on DVD. The only thing worth buying on blu ray is Live action movies or Cgi animated movies.

Meh, as much as I love the series, I already have seen the first season on Netflix. Why should I buy it?

Hey Bluemex. Time to make that appointment with your opthomologist. Blu-Ray even with animation looks far superior to dvd. Resolution is resolution no matter if its live action or animation. If the original source material was produced in high definition (and this series is) then it makes a huge difference. Even if it were shot in standard def, the upgrade to Blu-Ray with not only its higher definition but more vibrant colors and sharper image thanks to the superior H.264 codec result in a noticeably improved picture. No, the results are often not as dramatic as live action, but they sure are noticeable.

Marvel72, I'm with you on that. I only buy Blu-ray. Haven't bought a dvd in years now. Might as well be VHS if I'm going to downgrade from 1080p for all I care.
