Marvel comes to Club Penguin!

Looks like Marvel is heading to Club Penguin!

As we all know Disney has bought Marvel. Well it seems Disney is going to be adding some very familiar superheroes into their popular game, Club Penguin. Not much information has been given out but Disney has released a teaser photo in a recent TV Ad. So far the line up of characters from left to right: Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and Nova.

Club Penguin is an online game targeted to tweens in which players use penguin avatars to represent them in the virtual penguin world. While Club Penguin is not a social networking site, it does offer players the opportunity to interact with one another. Players may play online games, chit chat with other penguins, hold down jobs, solve secret missions, hang-out in penguin lounges or coffee shops and more. Club Penguin launched in 2005, and was purchased by The Walt Disney Company in 2007. Players may participate for free, or purchase a monthly subscription which allows them access to additional features on the site. Club Penguin does offer several safety features including monitors and a "Safe Chat" feature that filters vulgar language and personal information.
